I am a jewellery designer and maker.

I work mainly in silver and I use a variety of materials, including enamel paint and gold and copper leaf to add colour and contrast.

Petition to save Summerhall which is home to over 100 small businesses, artist studios, arts & science organisations, designers, photographers, casting directors, illustrators, film makers sports and martial arts, the Edinburgh Fringe and many, many more including me! The whole Summerhall eco system that has developed and grown over the years is under threat.

If you would like to help save Summerhall from the developer's current plans (which include selected demolition, student flats and a hotel) please sign and share the 38Degrees petition.

You can also have your say on the developer's website at www.summerhallconsultation.co.uk/index.php

Thank you.

This also majorly affects all the "hidden" residents of Summerhall of which I am one.
Summerhall is not just about the Fringe and various events and exhibitions, important as they are. It's home to a huge variety of creatives who have rented, studio, office and workshop spaces there for years and who have invested time and money into their businesses / practices. We now face an uncertain future.

If you can, please come along to the public consultation on Wednesday. I believe it is being held in the Library Gallery on the ground floor next to the cafe.
It will be our first opportunity to find out what is planned for Summerhall.

Thank you.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited the Fair this year. Thanks so much to all my customers who bought from me, shared their stories and expressed an interest in my work. It's a bit all consuming doing a 28 day event so thanks also to family and friends for their support and to my fellow Boardwalk buddies for their excellent company. Lastly big thanks to the team 3D2D for all their hard work organising such a huge event.
