Prompt: Favourite Collection

Charm necklaces & bracelets - some of them with a mixture of new and vintage charms in different colour metals. I like working out a combination of various charms, and it’s been a good challenge for my previous need for symmetrical designs!

I have some different styles in stock on my website www.pirate-treasures.com as well as my Etsy shop https://piratetreasures.etsy.com

I guess they’re not strictly handmade, as I don’t design/make the charms myself, yes they’re mass produced, but the actual layout is designed by me and assembled myself!

Prompt: Workspace

I’m lucky to have space for two desks (fb marketplace bargains - one was free, the other a heavy vintage one with a glass top which was under £50!), so I can keep my different creative spaces separate. And therefore both of them with different types of mess 🙃
As well as jewellery making, I sometimes make stuff with paint and other materials…decorating wooden boxes, casting resin and sticking stuff to canvasses and making merch for & like lyric sheets involving rubber stamps…
I haven’t had too much time for that side of the room over the last couple of years, but I have so many different supplies to use I need to get into that mindset again!

I’m not a ‘jeweller’, I’m more of an ‘assembler’ of purchased components. My main tools are pliers and wire cutters.
My most used materials are reels of chain, clasps, jump rings, head pins and charms & beads.
I assemble these into necklaces, bracelets and earrings!
