I'm delighted to be exhibiting in their Spring exhibition this year. The exhibition showcases beautiful contemporary pieces from studio jewellers, ceramicists, glass artists, wood turners, paper & print artists, textiles artists and painters, from across the UK.

My collection includes jewellery pieces from the 'Snowdrop' and 'Eucalyptus' ranges. Materials include recycled sterling silver, gold vermeil, green amethyst, green aventurine and pearls.

Do go and visit if you're in or around Liverpool. The exhibition is now open and runs until 7th June.

Happy New Year lovelies! ❤️

After a good break over the festive season, I've been easing myself slowly back into work over the last couple of days. Getting myself out for beautiful brisk walks in the east lothian countryside is helping to motivate me. 💪💪💪 Unfortunately, there are no beautiful snow scenes to see here, but naturally here I am blending into the background palette of burnt orange and lush greens. 🧡💚🧡

I'm tackling all the boring admin and accounts stuff at home at the moment, but I'm looking forward to being back in the studio making jewellery again tomorrow! 🤗

There was a bit of a running theme of eucalyptus with Christmas presents this year. I'm not sure why! 🤣 I have a couple of beautiful books to look through which will hopefully spark some new design ideas. We shall see...

I'm looking forward to seeing what this year brings and I wish you all good health and happiness in 2026!

That's the last of the orders done and after a wedding ring consultation this afternoon, I will be closing my studio door for the holidays. 🎄🎄🎄

Thanks so much for all your orders this festive season! Lots of lovely pieces have found new homes or are waiting under the Christmas tree! There are still some beautiful pieces left in the online shop in the recycled Sterling silver, gold and rose gold collections. Prices start from as a little as £25, if you still need a wee stocking filler or looking for that special gift, please do have a look.

If you’re hoping to receive something in time for Christmas, please make sure to order by midday on Thursday 18th December. I’ll be sending out my last Christmas deliveries then, and am unable to guarantee arrival for any orders placed after that.
Any orders placed after that will be posted out on the 5th January.

A silver 'Woodland' bangle commission (first video) I finished recently for a lovely customer at Flock, last month. I really enjoyed working on this one, and I'm so pleased it is going to be loved and worn a great deal. ❤️

The Woodland bangles are made in the same way as my rings, by fusing silver and sometimes 18ct gold wires to the surface of silver sheet. I just love the textures!

Here's a few other bangle designs of mine including the silver and 18ct gold 'Eucalyptus Leaves' one. This one has had a lot of love at winter fairs recently.
As the price of gold has doubled over the last year, it's even more nerve wracking fusing gold to silver now! Also, it's not really wavey! I was having a play with the filters! 🤣

The time has passed now for any made to order bangles or rings for Christmas, but there are a few ready to ship over on my website (link in bio), including the wavey one! 🤩

Just another BIG THANK YOU post after a fabulous open studios weekend ! This one was a very special one as we were celebrating 20 years of open studios, and it really was the best yet! 🎉🎄✨️🥂🎈

THANK YOU to every single one of you who made it down to Coburg to celebrate with us. There were lots of laughs and good chats, as well as lots of lovely pieces being taken home to put under the Christmas tree. Many were self gifted too, which I love!
And thank you to those of you who couldn't make it and have placed orders from the online shop over the last few days. They'll be on their way to you very soon! ❤️

OPEN STUDIOS opens this Friday and everyone is welcome! Come down to and help us celebrate 20 years of open studios! We'd really love to see you. You can find all the details in my previous post. ❤️ 🥂🎊🎄✨️

Here are a few of the things you'll find in my studio.

✨️ Petal & Loop earrings & pendants - all the loopy designs have been really popular this season, so much so, I had to make another batch ready for open studios.

✨️'Inflorescence Flower' earrings - I made these to compliment my 'Inflorescence Floral' Brooch for our '20 Brooches' exhibition which you'll find right in the centre of the gallery. You'll find these lovely statement earrings in my display in my studio.

✨️New designs - lots of lovely new pieces from the 'Long Eucalyptus Petal' collection amongst all my other current ranges in silver, gold and rose gold.

✨️Mis-match earrings- just before Open studios, I put together a few pairs of these earrings. Odd earrings and elements usually found in my odd box or cast aside on the bench, I put them together to create beautiful pairs which are odd but compliment each other beautifully. These are priced lower than my collection pieces, so definitely worth browsing.

✨️Discount Drawers (not pictured) - I will have some SALE pieces available. These are sample, end of line or slight seconds. Making space for new work next year. 🙂

This year we are celebrating 20 whole years of open studios! Time sure does go fast when you enjoy what you do, and are surrounded by a lovely creative community. ❤️

Inflorescence' Brooch

As we are celebrating 20 years of open studios this year, here the jewellers have been busy making special pieces to be included in our '20 Brooches' exhibition.

Like most of my pieces, this brooch is handmade by fusing recycled sterling silver sheet petals together to create a floral motif. I love the impact that repetitive elements can make in a piece, so I have riveted four floral elements to the front.

I wanted my brooch to have a resemblance to some of my older designs, from the beginning, when I first joined the community back in 2002. Basing the initial design on this, but using similar shapes I'm working with in my current collections. If you swipe along, you will see the original design from all those years ago. This has been hanging up on my wall in the studio all this time! You can probably tell from all the tarnishing! 🤭
You can also see here the new brooch being worn, before I added the extra flowers.

'20 Brooches' will be open during our winter open studios event on the 5th, 6th and 7th Dec. More info on open studios can be found on the website.

I've got to say, I'm pretty excited to see what all the other Coburg jewellers have made! 🤗

I'd just like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited FLOCK over the weekend! Thank you to each and every one of you who bought or ordered a piece of DB jewellery, for all the laughs and interesting chats, and for making it yet again, another fabulous weekend in Banchory. ❤️

I'd like to give a huge shout out to all the organisers, staff and volunteers at The Barn also, without whom this fabulous event would never happen. And to my lovely neighbours and for just being so lovely and so bloody talented! ❤️

It was so refreshing to hear from so many makers saying how successful their weekend had been, after such an uncertain year in the small business world. There was certainly a buzz about the place!

Selling my work at in person events like this keeps reminding me of the special community us makers have, and how lucky I am to be able to do what I do, especially given the current climate. ❤️

Next up is my final event of the year! We have our winter open studios on the 5th, 6th and 7th December. More info coming soon! 🤩

I'm very excited to be returning to this weekend to exhibit at this year's FLOCK!

I'm currently amidst the final preparations for this fabulous event. I'm in the final packing stages, and here a just a select few pieces of what I will be bringing with me.
