The next few weeks are going to be exciting for us! We’re moving our studio and I’m heading to a jewellery show on the other side of the worrrrrrrld ✈️

Because of that, I’ve decided to give the online shop a short break so i can do both properly (and not lose my mind completely)

What’s sexier than flowers? Deep conversations about money and conflict. And it costs you less than £13 ❣️

I’m serious. As a jewellery brand owner, i think a lot about gifts that mark moments. This book Eight Dates by the Gottmans is definitely one of them!

I’ve been following their work for a while and have learned a great deal. The couple studied thousands of couples and identified 8 crucial topics that predict relationship success. This book is structured around 8 dates, during which you’ll be having conversations around these topics.

What I love is that you’re not passively reading advice. You’re actively building your relationship through conversation. Each chapter is a planned date with warm up exercises, deep questions and even suggestions for here to go.

My takeaway: treat your partner with curiosity. The person who woke up today isn’t the same person who went to bed last night. And that includes you

Whether you’ve been together 2 months or 20 years, this helps you talk about trust, money, conflict, family... all the topics that shape relationships before they become problems.

A ring might symbolise your commitment, but this book gives you the tools to strengthen what that ring represents.

If you’ve noticed jewellery prices creeping up - you’re not imagining it. Gold and silver prices have surged. And rising costs create pressure for brands:

Some lower the purity. Get vague about materials. Swap in cheaper base metals where nickel can sneak in and trigger reactions. Quality control becomes optional because, well, it costs money

I started MISSA & KISSA becoz i have sensitive skin myself. I know what it’s like to love a piece of jewellery, then having to stop wearing it because your ears are screaming

So from the beginning, this has been non negotiable:
Materials chosen for sensitive skin - gold plated sterling silver, gold-filled pieces. We don’t switch them out just because costs rise

It hasn’t changed since i started and it won’t.

When someone chooses MISSA & KISSA, they’re trusting that what arrives will feel good, last well, and fit into their life without worry.

That trust means everything to me ❤️

Metal prices will keep moving, they always do. Rising costs affect everyone in this industry.

Commodity prices might change. Our standards do not.
