Hello wonderful people!

After some soul-searching in the last few days of 2024, I decided that Vibrant G will be taking a break.

I love creating different things and I am ever searching for the next thing that I could make. From polymer clay to jesmonite and silver jewellery, to homeware making with jesmonite, to sewing courses and knitting and everything else in between… I’ve enjoyed the last year and a half of experiencing making things with my hands.

And it has been such a pleasure meeting you all and sharing with you my crafts, knowing that the vibrancy and elegance of Vibrant G are somewhere in your house or you are wearing it. I have met many amazing and interesting people from all paths thanks to the markets and being able to display some of the crafts at the sadly-now-closed Arts and Craft Collective made me feel very proud. Thank you all for that, it means a lot.

Now, I need to focus on the bits I’ve been running away from: singing and writing, writing and singing. Wish me determination and courage.

Have a lovely end of this 2024, I wish that you spend 2025 chasing your dreams and listening to your heart and instincts. Keep supporting small businesses, as they’re full of people with a lot of creativity, passion and talent and you will find crafts and art like nowhere else. Fill your lives with art!

Gosh, I wouldn’t have even remembered if LinkedIn hadn’t got so many messages congratulating me this morning… on the first anniversary of Vibrant G! When did that happen?

So much has happened since last summer, post honeymoon, full-on sabbatical, when I decided to start making… jewellery?! The first 5 months of Vibrant G were really intense: I set up the business, branding, social media, website, experimented with lots of materials, took silversmithing classes, added homeware to the collection, consciously made the decision of zero waste, recycling and using environmentally friendlier materials… set up Etsy/ decided to stop using Etsy and focus on markets, shops and word of mouth.

Christmas came and I had so much fun at markets (I was so nervous at my first one!) and managed to get Vibrant G at the wonderfully curated Art and Craft Collective Christmas pop up. What a stellar achievement that was, and then being invited to become a permanent artist at the Gallery… wonderful times.

Post Christmas, I slowed down. My first published book, Ad Kalendas Graecas, came out in February, so I focused my attention on that. My day-time job was changing, with lots of uncertainty about what’s next.

Fast forward a few months, and where is Vibrant G going? Well… in September we’re moving to Birmingham so that my brilliant husband can continue with his academic studies in music composition. Vibrant G is coming with us, so I will be exploring new markets and who knows what will happen.

In the meantime, custom orders - always with a touch of joy and elegance are open; with national and international delivery available. And there is some stock available too - we will be at a couple of markets this August. And stay tuned for some pictures of available jewellery and homeware!

Tomorrow I will be at the wonderful .yard.market with Vibrant G, with lots of new colourful jewellery and homeware made of jesmonite… and… I’ll also be launching Ad Kalendas Graecas! So, for the readers out there, who enjoy colourful and vibrant crafts, you’re in luck! Besides, there will be, as usual, so many talented artists and crafters at the market, you cannot miss it!

Also, first market of the year! It was about time, wasn’t it?!
