Latest conversion to leave us is this 2014 T5.1.
It was brought to us as an empty van with side windows and nothing else.
So, one big order from Combe Valley Campers later and a full supply of DODO products arrived swiftly. Anti-vibration matting, thermal matting, wadding and vapour barrier for the walls and a combined thermal and sound deadening adhesive backed covering for the floor.
9mm ply floor laid and Lino bonded over it. Walls covered in stretch veltrim in pure black. Interior mdf panel kit from Just Kampers sourced, covered in ribbed red carpet and then attached using longer thicker Christmas tree fixings.
Ceiling received a version of the wall covering and insulation plus 6 touch operated puck lights.
Furniture unit was from MG Designs, prepped and painted by us.
M1 crashed tested 3/4 width bed/seat with seat belts from Keverics in Peterborough. Absolute amazing piece of kit. Very good value.
For the first time I have used Renogy for every electrical component and I’m so pleased with the quality of their products. They aren’t the cheapest but they are worth the money.
Full solar with a combined MPPT and DC-DC charging and management system. Combined charger and pure sine inverter to provide mains powered battery charging and mains power from solar or the LiFePO4 leisure battery.
M1 tested twin seat swivel to extend the space inside and there you have it!
