Rosebloom and Boy John nearly completed.

Months of delays for verious reasons, these are the some of the last RC models I will producing to order.
Skye model boats is now closing in its current form and moving to static models is only.
Costs are now ridiculous and parts are hard to come by without delays, so it's not sustainable anymore.
Been a pleasure, but sadly the workshop has become a point of high stress as keeping to deadlines is impossible and I spend more time sourcing hardware than actually building.

I am back, finally getting to the last stages of a set of 8 models I have been hard at work building.

So here we have the first of the lastest set.

Scratch built BRD 5 as a static display model built for the original owner of the vessel.

The hull was so difficult to get right but it worked out well in the end.

More complete models to follow shortly.

Very important information.

After over a decade building models I have decided to slow right down.
Cost of materials more particularly electronics is now crippling and stocks are slow oh so slow making hours in the workshop ridiculously long.

Order books are now closed for the next 12 months for anything other than small static display models.

Orders already taken are being built now.

Skye model boats will continue as a model making service but only static display models no more RC orders are being taken.

It has been an absolute delight to have built so many models over the years for so many lovely people.

Thank you all, now back to the workshop I go.

There's been a hold up on the RC models, stupidly ordered 200 led lights for multiple models not realising from China and long delivery time. These have taken nearly 2 months to arrive.

They are now here and rc models are being fitted out.
