The Bushmills Prohibition Recipe label features a fantastic fine detail pencil sketch of Tommy Shelby as well as elements of hot foil✏️👤

Embossing and debossing were also incorporated and a natural finish material was selected for the label to complement🏷️📜

The overall impact was traditional and classic, perfect for the time period🚬🥃

🎉🥃✨ This week Nuprint are delighted to share that we have walked away from Irish Print Awards with Bronze Flexographic Printer of the Year for our work with Bushmills Rare Cask 28 Year Old Single Malt Cognac.🏆☘

This recognition is a testament to our dedication to excellence and innovation in the printing industry. Partnering with Proximo Spirits and the esteemed design agency, Stranger & Stranger, we embarked on a project to modernize the iconic Bushmills brand while honoring its rich heritage.

This expression spent 11 years in ex-bourbon barrels and sherry casks, followed by 17 more years in ex-cognac casks, before being blended and bottled by Bushmills’ master blenders. With fewer than 500 bottles of Rare Cask No. 1 available globally, we are honored to have played a part in bringing this exceptional product to whiskey enthusiasts around the world.

Crafted with precision and care, our digital printing technology allowed us to bring this vision to life with unparalleled quality. From hot foiling to intricate embellishments, every detail was meticulously executed to create a label that stands out on shelves worldwide. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who continually strive for perfection in every project.

The Causeway Collection posed an operational challenge due to sequential data included on each bottle. This brought our variable data machinery into action.⚙️📝

To achieve the desired finish, an uncoated premium textured paper substrate was used with multiple hot foil, embossing and debossing processes.🏷️🖨️

The finished product was a rousing success which saw a successful entry into the ecommerce market for Bushmills. Furthermore, the consumer feedback was positive and the product continues to perform fantastically.🏆🥃

The Kane family has been farming in Myroe for over 100 years🌾🚜

There were a number of key considerations for Broighter Gold, the most important, being that there was the necessity for a wipe clean label for an oil-based product🧼🏷️

The gold-drop feature of the logo was also a core component of the design as it is a nod to the heritage of the product💧🏅
