Tudor were onto a winner from the start with the OG BB58, you can see this with the minute differences found on the new one. Today the vintage vibe has been turned up to 11 and the horological k**b well and truly snapped off! This is no surprise given the insane quality of this mesh and other straps from (as has come to be expected from the brand), no hair pulling or locking up of the mesh; just armoured silk on the wrist, all with a fantastic taper. πŸ”οΈβš“οΈπŸ—ΊοΈ

Making camp with the Rolex Explorer II. Nothing beats a couple of steaks cooked on the open fire, a few beers under the stars and a natter with the wife. πŸ•οΈπŸ₯©πŸŒ²

First field test complete of the newly developed M-TYPE mesh, residing on the IWC Mark XVIII. I’ve found it to be the perfect equilibrium between bracelet and fabric, the new mesh features serpentine levels of articulation and unmatched breathability for when it’s hot and sticky or drying off after being soaked with rain. Looking forward to seeing how this looks on some other pieces. β˜”οΈπŸ”οΈπŸŒž

🚨NWA🚨 The Rolex Submariner Date ref: 16610. I once felt that I would never go near vintage/neo vintage, but after picking up the 16710 GMT at the start of the year, i get it now. Imho the majority of modern Rolex models lack soul, perfect pieces of machinery no doubt, but the final years of the 5 digit examples are a bridge between two worlds, vintage style with modern movements and materials. Once more they are closer linked to the models that lifted the crown to it’s current position, head of state over the entire swiss watchmaking fiefdom. This unpolished example, being 20 years old now seems to have had a fairly easy life of it so far, I hope to change that and take it on the adventures it was designed to endure and ultimately deserves. πŸŒŠβš“οΈπŸ¦ˆ

The Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi ref: 16710 and the latest issue of sadly not in the same warm climes as the last issue, but we have rum and this issue more than makes up for it. The Rolex GMT-Master 16710 β€œPepsi” carries the spirit of the jet age in every click of its bezel. Born from an era when Pan Am crews crossed time zones as routinely as horizons. Its red and blue split isn’t just iconic; it’s a functional nod to pilots who lived between day and night, duty and destination. That legacy flows into the Tudor GMT Pepsi, a modern echo of the same mission-ready DNA, rugged, precise, unapologetically aviation-rooted. A tool watch forged in the skies, still keeping time where it matters most. πŸ—ΊοΈπŸ‘¨πŸ»β€βœˆοΈβœˆοΈ

IWC Ingenieur Ref: 323902. Perfectly proportioned at 40mm and a svelte 9.9mm thick. The combination of AR coating and a dial so close to the crystal feels like you could grab the hands. This one holds a special place in the collection. βš™οΈπŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ”§πŸ”§
