This Saturday could be one of our last parties here at commonground!
Free entry, over 18s, DJ Beards Blend, Cocktails, and hopefully lots of dressing up! Plus, as always, our huge sand worm!

Well… that’s it folks! Stay tuned for the next iteration of Fantayzia… but give it a few weeks, I can barely move after emptying the shop!

Really wasn’t keen on the bathroom tiles we inherited, and there’s a patch missing… but wondering if with some funky wallpaper, we can keep them and save some time/money on the bathroom… particularly don’t like the border tiles, but can I live with them?! Send help!! 🤣🤣

Well folks… I’m afraid that’s it. It’s with a heavy heart that we’re announcing that the shop at is set to close.
It’s been an absolute blast, and it’s not been a decision that we’ve taken lightly, but it’s really the only decision we have left.
We’ve been struggling with a massive downturn of footfall, as so many other small businesses have of late, but on top of that, Mr Fantayzia has been rather poorly and running the shop has become untenable.
We’re not sure at this stage if the doors will even be open again, but we are planning on having at least the records online and available to post out, or collect from our amazing neighbours so watch this space. And if there was something from the shop you were mulling over.., now is the time to let me know!
Thank you to the amazing Fargo Family for the experience of a lifetime, to every other small business we’ve had the pleasure of working alongside, for every single customer who has come in, for every follower on here and for every kind word and enthusiasm so many of you have shown me towards my art, the shop, to retro stuff and things.
I’ve met so many amazing people, and made some lifelong friends along the way, but now it’s time for a new challenge…
Keep in touch people, and let’s see where the next path takes us🖤

Fantayzia Designs - Records and so much more!

At Fantayzia Designs, I produce unique, handcrafted jewellery and artwork, through the creative use of unplayable vinyl records.

As an avid lover of music and collector of vinyl, I love the challenge of creating a new life for a material that would otherwise end up in landfill. I offer a service whereby bespoke pieces of art can be commissioned to suit all styles and tastes.

I also now stock a selection of used, second hand vinyl records - so please come and take a look at what the new look shop has to offer. I can also now officially confirm that I am an official stockist for Waxwork Records who release soundtracks and film scores of cult and genre movies exclusively on vinyl.

Thinking about selling your record collection? I want to provide a space for you to be able to sell your records without the hassle and worry of posting them to your customers - so get in touch to discuss adding them to the shop collection! With unique products from other local artists and craftspeople, the shop always has something new and exciting to look at, so repeat visits and following social media are essential to catch that one-off piece before it’s gone.
