So our last event for July.....and this is one we have only just booked on.

We were last at Green Island Gardens in 2024 for their summer fayre, so thought it was about time we went back. It really is such a beautiful garden and the loveliest place to spend a day (we'll be there both days) enjoying the plants, tranquility and on the last weekend of July, us 😀 and other beautiful stalls.

The photos are from 2024, so imagine some things have changed and we can't wait to see it now.

Next up in July....18th & 19th.....

We have St Osyth Summer Sounds at St Osyth Priory.

A free event (you just need to book a ticket for numbers) with music, cookery demos, stalls with fabulous artisan makes, food & drink and probably more I've missed out!

It's our first year doing this event and yet another one we can't wait to be at - when I say we have exciting, enjoyable events coming up I really mean it!!

So if you're free that weekend and want to spend a day soaking up the atmosphere, eating, drinking and shopping handmade, artisan, not mass-produced pieces, get your tickets booked and we'll see you there.

Back to our upcoming events info...and now July.

First up, on 11th & 12th July, we are back at Clare Priory Craft Fair. This will be our fifth year (we are still very much newbies compared to many you will find there) and it's an event we absolutely love.

There will be so many beautiful, handmade things to look at and buy. And also, each year this event raises lots of money for various charities, plus it is run by a team of volunteers who put so much of their time and energy into making it what it is.

What's on the bench today...

Well this years event's so far have shown us just how much you love stacker rings, especially brass & copper. So since you bought so many on the last couple of events I need to do a restock & because everything I sell is handmade, by me, I can't simply go online to order a load 😆 

Each & every one is lovingly handmade by me, every hammer blow, made by my fair hands...& I say fair 😄 but we are only a tiny way through the process & already my hands are getting sore & haggard!

This morning has begun with a big cutting session, now to tidy joins, solder, clean up, hammer, anneal, hammer some more, shape, file/sand/polish & tumble! It won't all happen today, this is more than one days work & I might need to do something else in between, for a bit of variety!

But for now I reckon it's probably time for lunch before I get them ready & solder them. 

Plus need to do a quick prayer to the soldering gods to be kind to me today 🙏

So next up on our upcoming events is...

✨️ Essex County Craft Show.

Here you will find lots of stalls of beautiful handmade artisan products, created with love, care and passion, plus food & drink, all set within the beautiful grounds of Ingatestone Hall.

As if that wasn't enough, you'll also be treated to artisans at work, showing their processes, plus bookable workshops.

And then there is the live music - sit down, relax and have something to eat and drink while listening to Jazz.....Darren and Chris have been busy practising to get ready to entertain you!

It's time to start shouting about the events we have in the next couple of months.....I've already posted these events, but they are getting closer and there is far more to them than just a shopping trip. So give the pages a follow to keep up to date with what will be happening and all info relating to tickets, etc. Any questions please ask, if I don't know I will find out.

✨️ So first up and coming very soon - 6th June, we have Cornucopia Kimberley Hall in Wymondham, a first for us heading to Norfolk with our jewellery...you can tell it's a first, cause I have already had to be corrected a couple of times on my pronunciation of Wymondham 😂 (if I'm slow at saying it, it's cause I'm thinking it through in my head first!).

This one brings together, artisan food, drink, shopping, music & more, all set in a stunning venue.

Nothing more to say 🤣

But I am looking forward to when it arrives, getting a delivery of jewellery making materials - be it metals, gems, pearls, etc - is opening up a box of possibilities, thoughts & ideas...what will it become & then who will love it, who will wear it 😀

Also, later I will start posting the upcoming events we have, as there are some fabulous ones coming up for summer.

Late posting about yesterday's event because unfortunately as I didn't sleep much the night before (I know so many makers who relate to this 😄), combined with it being so hot and happily being really busy, I ended the event with a bad head & had to head home & straight to bed!! Luckily we were very local!

But yesterday was an such a wonderful day with Craft & Flea at Charter Hall, Colchester.

Thank you to everyone who came by, to chat, buy, browse...(especially two of our very favourite people, who very conveniently work there). We were so happy that so many pieces of our handmade jewellery found new homes & will get to be worn & loved 😍

Some amazing makers there.....we enjoyed our morning coffee today in our new mugs & the coffee definitely tasted better 😀

Hopefully Craft & Flea will run more events there, as it was lovely meeting everyone & sharing our jewellery made in Colchester with the people of Colchester.

So watch this page, because if there are more we will let you know asap.
