✨ Let’s talk about tarnish ✨
A question we often get “if it’s real silver why has it tarnished?” Or the statement “Real silver won’t tarnish” So let’s talk science and bust the myth & mystery around Sterling silver.. First things first — real sterling silver does tarnish. And that’s actually how you know it’s the real deal.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, mixed with a tiny amount of other metals (usually copper) to make it strong enough for everyday wear. Those added metals are what react with oxygen, moisture, perfumes, lotions — even the air — causing that darker, dull layer we call tarnish.
