I don’t really do sales.

That’s because I genuinely try to price things well all year round. I don’t build in extra just so I can knock money off later, and I want the pieces you buy from me to feel like good value whether it’s January or July.

But once a year, as the year comes to a close, I do a proper clear out. Partly to make space for what’s coming next, and partly as a big thank you to everyone who’s supported me through the year.

The annual Trash Lobster clear-out is nearly here 🗑️🦞
And it is dope.

Last year the website was half sold out within three hours, and by the end of the sale almost everything had gone.

It starts on Boxing Day, the 26th of December, and absolutely everything on the website will be discounted. Some of the reductions are honestly a bit unhinged. I do my very, very, very best.

Usually early info is mailing list only, but the mailing list is currently broken, so I’ve set up an Instagram broadcast channel instead. It’s called Nothing to See Here and you can find it linked in my Stories or on my profile.

Once I start discounting on the website, I’ll be posting updates in there first. That will be the earliest way to hear what’s happening. Otherwise you’ll need to wait for the public announcement.

The Victorians adored a hidden message, and compasses were one of their favourites. They weren’t just practical little marvels – they were talismans of direction, devotion and safe return. A compass around your neck whispered “may you always find your way back to me” or “may your journey be true.”

One of the most extraordinary lockets I’ve ever come across. Designed like a miniature book or briefcase, it opens to reveal a central rectangular frame for a photo or a folded letter (I love the idea of giving lockets with letters inside, it’s such a personal gesture). Each side flips open like a cover, perfectly engineered so it folds back neatly. Inside is a tiny inscription, “KGB from DLB,” which makes you instantly wonder about their story. The exterior is a masterclass in antique engraving, deep floral and forget me not etching on both sides and even along the edges(!!!), places you can only see if you look closely which is testament to what an incredibly thoughtful and valuable commission this was. It’s all hand done, crisp, and precise, proof that this was made with real care for someone deeply loved. The mechanism works smoothly and the condition is exceptional. This is a once in a lifetime collector’s piece, crafted with heart and built to outlive everyone who touches it.

A beautifully made vintage chain in one of the most in demand link combinations.
