Here we have a gents lovely Tag Heuer watch. Over roughly 20yrs it’s been worn everyday and started to feel it’s age.

Our customer wanted to ring some life back into it and wanted us to fit the supplied bezel insert and a little clean up.

Part two of gents rotary rebuild.

All fully cleaned, case buffed, new perspex crystal fitted and new suede style leather strap fitted and now looks a million dollars.!!

Hopefully customer is as happy as we are with the result.

Part one:

Customer wanted this lovely gents 9ct gold rotary watch restoring as it was her dads loyal service watch from work and wants to hand it down to her son.

We made a start by rinsing the case and giving it a buff up.
Stripped the movement down and rinsed/cleaned the parts individually.

Rebuilt the movement back up and oiled the working parts as we went along.

As a rule we no longer do mechanical watch repairs but Paul just couldn’t help himself and had to have a look.

Turned out the head off one of the screws had snapped off and got stuck inside the movement.

He managed to get it out and replace the damaged screw and the watch now works perfectly again…

Ladies Ebel came in for a new battery, service and clean due to moisture damage… luckily after a clean and service it’s working perfectly fine.
