First day of a little break- a weekend in a field serving beer to SK, then a two day blacksmith's taster sessions and then Tuesday night off two isle of mann with great friends. A time to stop and breath in demanding time.

A long day starting with some sorting and a talk to a local group on blacksmithing. Then off to the 1620's House and Gardens to drop off some more metalwork.Then off to Leeds to drop some more bits off and a good deed.
5 1/2hrs driving to get up there, 3hrs to get back.

Back from a wonderful weekend at Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre , great weather, great friends and great sites to see. Monday was a sorting day- emptying the van, washing kit and cloths, full stock take, cashing up, drying the sod cloths on the walls and checking messages/emails/ calls. That's a trader's day off, well my day off.
Yesterday and today was back in the forge, working on Braziers/ commissions and having a steady stream of visitors.

Loading day- sorting out and loading the van full of metalwork, kit, bedding/bed, tables and tent. Ready fr the journey ...

Loading day- sorting out and loading the van full of metalwork, kit, bedding/bed, tables and tent. Ready fr the journey tomorrow to Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre.
A week of stock making, commission finishing and paperwork.
Really looking forward to getting away and seeing friend.

I am closing my books for the next three month due to having a shed load of work on. I will still enquires/ advise/ design sketches etc and I will still be at my usual shows/events.
So see you in two weeks at Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre and then threes after that at Evesham Medieval Market in the chuch yard.
