🎨🖌️ A CREATIVE DAY OUT IN SITTINGBOURNE! 🖌️🎨

Our clients and staff had a wonderful day out this week in Sittingbourne, getting creative and painting their very own pottery! 🏺🎨

Alongside all the painting, there was also time to enjoy a lovely spot of refreshment, plenty of laughter and lots of socialising with friends. ☕😊

Everyone had such a fantastic time that they’re already talking about booking another visit to paint some more! We think that says it all! ❤️

At Carers Relief Services (CRS), we love being able to offer our clients a wide range of activities within the community. Whether it’s getting creative, enjoying a day out or simply spending time with friends, these experiences help build confidence, encourage independence and create wonderful memories.

MC and MCo have enjoyed another fun-filled day out in the community! 🥰

Their support worker has been off, so it was lovely to see the Three Amigos back together again, causing a little havoc, sharing plenty of laughs and wearing the biggest smiles! 😂❤️

It’s moments like these that make community support so special. It’s not just about getting out and about; it’s about friendships, shared experiences, building confidence and creating wonderful memories together.

And with the trio reunited, we can already feel the Christmas excitement building! 🎄🎅✨

🌟💙 MEET OUR CRS STAR OF THE WEEK – JULIE OWEN! 💙🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Julie! 🥰

Julie has been part of the CRS family for a year and absolutely loves what she does. Her passion for person-centred support shines through in everything she does, helping the people we support enjoy new experiences, build confidence and live life their way. 💙

For Julie, it’s all about recognising that everyone is an individual, with their own needs, wishes, interests and goals. She believes in building trusting relationships, promoting independence and treating everyone with patience, understanding and dignity. ✨

Outside of work, Julie is a busy mum of two, enjoys walking her two dogs, playing netball, Clubbercise and relaxing with her favourite soaps and TV dramas! 🐶🏐💃

And here’s a fun fact… Julie appeared on a children’s TV show many years ago! 📺👀 We wonder which one!

We’re so pleased to have Julie as part of our team and thank her for the care, dedication and positivity she brings to CRS. 💚

PM had the BEST day out at Inca Island Adventure Golf while out on support! 😁🏌️‍♂️

Thursdays are all about supporting PM to spend time doing the things he loves and enjoying everything the community has to offer. 💙

Sometimes, community support is about helping our clients access activities and experiences they might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy. It’s about creating memories, building confidence, encouraging independence and, most importantly, having FUN! 🌟

🚌💙 A fabulous day out for LK! 💙

LK had a wonderful day out this week, starting with a bus journey alongside his support worker to Bluewater! 🛍️

Once there, LK enjoyed having a look around the shops, doing a spot of people-watching and, of course, stopping off for some well-deserved refreshments. ☕😊

At CRS, we know that the things many of us take for granted can be significant milestones for the people we support. Building confidence to use public transport, access the community and enjoy everyday activities can make such a difference to independence and self-esteem.

LK is partially sighted, so developing the confidence to travel by bus and enjoy a day out is a fantastic achievement, and we’re so proud to support him on his journey. 💙

💖 Our wonderful SL! 💖

I can’t begin to express just how much it warms our hearts to see SL smiling like this! 🥰❤️

SL has been part of our CRS family for many years, and throughout that time, we have shared some very special moments together. We have also supported SL through the heartbreaking loss of her beautiful mum, who was such an amazing woman.

We made a promise that we would continue to support SL, ensuring she has every opportunity to enjoy life, make memories and, most importantly, have the time of her life. 💕

Seeing these photos and that beautiful smile says it all. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. It’s about so much more than providing support — it’s about building relationships, creating happiness, making memories and helping the people we support live life to the fullest. ✨

That smile says a thousand words, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of SL’s journey. ❤️

☕🛍️ A well-earned Costa break for DA and her support worker! ❤️

After getting her shopping done, DA enjoyed a well-deserved stop at Costa for a little treat and some relaxation!

At Carers Relief Services (CRS), we’re proud to offer so much more than fun activities like bowling, cinema trips and group outings. We also support our clients with everyday tasks, from shopping to other daily chores, helping them maintain their independence, build confidence and feel empowered in their everyday lives. 💙

🌧️ Rain or shine, the adventures continue! 🥰

It’s always a little harder planning community support when the heavens open, especially for JW, who absolutely loves getting out and about, exploring and enjoying his walks. ☔️

But the rain wasn’t going to stop him this week! JW and his support worker enjoyed a lovely few hours out, starting with a visit to the LEGO shop 🧱 before heading over to the pet shop to see all the animals 🐹🐠🐰.

Even on the wettest days, it’s all about finding activities that JW enjoys and making sure he can still get out, explore his community and have a great time. ❤️

Person-centred community support, helping our clients enjoy the things they love, whatever the weather! 🌟
