A little update from me 🩷

When I shared my last update, I thought I’d be back on September 1st after taking some time off over the summer holidays.

But having had this time away, I’ve realised that I need a little longer.

To be honest, I had completely burnt myself out and stepping away has made me realise just how much I needed to slow down and properly take a break.

So for now, I’m going to take an extended break from the business. I don’t have a date in mind for when I’ll be back, but I’ll keep you posted once I know.

This isn’t an easy decision because I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built. None of it would have been possible without every single person who has placed an order, recommended me to a friend, shared my posts, sent me a lovely message or followed along.

I genuinely can’t thank you enough for all of your support 🩷

For now, I’m going to take a step back and give myself the space I need to figure out what comes next.

So after some thought over the past few months, I’ve decided to make a change to how orders will work.

From 1st September, my order books will open on the 1st of each month and stay open for one week (or until I reach capacity).

I’ve loved having my order books open all the time, but as this business has grown, I’ve realised it isn’t the best way for me to work anymore. Without a clear structure, it’s become difficult to balance creating your jewellery, designing new pieces, working behind the scenes on the business, and being present with Arthur and Arianwen while I work part time around them. Im SO aware that this is a GOOD problem to have, and I’m honestly so grateful!

I’m hoping this new way of working will give me dedicated time each month to focus on making your jewellery, as well as creating new designs and working behind the scenes on the business.

Most importantly to me, it means I can keep giving every piece the time and care it deserves. Handmade jewellery shouldn’t feel rushed, and that’s something I never want to compromise on by taking on too much.

I’m taking a little break over the summer holidays to spend some much needed time off with family, so my first monthly order opening will be 1st September. I’ll share lots of reminders before then, so you won’t miss it.

Because this is a new way of doing things, I’d love to hear what you think once it’s been up and running for a few months. I’m always open to feedback, and if there are any little tweaks I can make to improve the process, I’ll be more than happy to.

A little shop update 🩷

I’ve made the decision to close my online shop from Friday 24th July until September.

The main reason is that I want to make the most of what could be my last 6-week summer holiday with my two children before my working hours change. ❤️

I’m also busy working on a brand new website to fix the issues some of you have been experiencing with the current one, so taking a short break will make the transition much smoother while I complete existing orders.

So, if you’ve been thinking about ordering something for an August birthday or another special occasion, now is the best time! ✨
