Who says the engagement ring has to be just for her? ⚡️

When Ruben got engaged, he wanted something to mark the moment too.

So we designed an engagement ring specifically for him. Made in silver, tire tracks run across the surface before breaking apart into cracks that become part of the structure. A black diamond is flush set into the ring 🔨

It all started with Tenovus 💙

This story started back in March, when we donated a 2ct oval diamond and a bespoke design-and-create experience to the Tenovus Strictly Speakeasy charity event 🪩

Rebecca was the winning bidder — and decided to turn the experience into something particularly special for her 60th birthday.

She brought us pieces from her own jewellery collection that she no longer wore, and together we set about creating an organic, flowing design that would combine the old with the new 🔨

Two tones of gold. Rebecca’s existing stones. One beautiful new oval diamond. And quite a design challenge 💎

This is how it came together.

A completely new design for us, yet somehow very us.

And most importantly, a piece filled with Rebecca’s own history that she can now wear and enjoy all over again 🤩

✨ A project we’ll never forget.

For the last 10 years, our client has been panning for Welsh gold ⛏️✨, saving every piece with the intention of one day creating an engagement ring.

We had the privilege of melting that gold to create the engagement band, pairing it with a platinum halo setting and carefully selected vintage diamonds 💍. Inside the band, we engraved the word “Aur”—the Welsh word for gold 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

To complete the set, we also handcrafted a perfectly fitted wedding band 🤍.

It’s not every day we get to be part of a story like this. Thank you for trusting us with something so personal.

A year ago yesterday, the Crowning Ceremony took place at the National Eisteddfod in Wrexham, where Owain Rhys was awarded the Crown we had the huge privilege of creating. 👑✨

Blwyddyn yn ôl i ddoe, yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Wrecsam, enillodd Owain Rhys y Goron y cawsom y fraint fawr o’i chreu. 👑✨

How time has flown! It was such a pleasure to welcome Owain and his wife back yesterday, reminiscing about such a special occasion. 🤍

We loved creating this piece 💍

A contemporary three stone engagement ring that feels clean and simple from the top, allowing the natural diamonds to take centre stage 💎Underneath, it’s a different story - a unique, art nouveau- inspired filigree that adds depth and detail without overwhelming the design.

This ring was made for Sarah, using diamonds from both her granny’s engagement ring and her own original ring. A thoughtful redesign, bringing everything together into one piece while making the most of each stone.
