I’ll let you into a little secret tool I love to use…

When I’m setting pearls, I always reach for a good old-fashioned wooden clothes peg. It might not look fancy, but it does the job perfectly. 🤩

The wood is soft enough that it won’t scratch or damage the delicate surface of the pearl (which is so important!), and it gives just the right amount of gentle, even pressure while the setting is secured. No slipping, no stress—just a steady hold exactly where I need it.

Sometimes the best tools aren’t the newest ones… they’re the ones that just quietly work 💫

A truly meaningful commission 💫

I recently had the honour of creating this delicate, bespoke eternity ring for a client who wanted something deeply personal — a piece that not only complements her engagement ring, but also carries the memory of someone incredibly special.

Using platinum and diamonds, we designed a soft, curved band to sit perfectly alongside her existing ring. What makes this piece so unique is the incorporation of her mum’s ashes, carefully set within the design — a subtle and lasting way to keep her close, every single day 🤍

This marks the beginning of a new service I’m now offering — creating bespoke jewellery using loved ones’ or pets’ ashes. These can be thoughtfully incorporated into cast silver, gold, or platinum pieces, each one made with care, sensitivity, and respect.

Just to say I’ve had to down tools quickly today as my mum has been admitted to A&E in Peterborough.

There’s something magical about March in Wales — longer days, lighter evenings, and the first golden daffodils appearing on my jogs around the park.

As March’s birth flower, the daffodil symbolises renewal, love and brighter days ahead — making it a beautiful choice for March birthdays and Mother’s Day alike.

My Daffodil Collection is handcrafted in my Cardiff workshop and available in sterling silver, 18k gold vermeil, with freshwater pearl or diamond details (solid gold on request).

✨Mum & Daughter Pearl Necklaces 🩶🩶

There’s something incredibly special about working with heirloom pearls

My client brought me two beautiful heirloom Tahitian pearls, each full of lustre and deep ocean tones, and asked me to carefully drill and set them onto fine 18k yellow gold chain ✨

One necklace for his wife.
One for his daughter.

Same pearls, same design — a quiet connection between two generations.

Tahitian pearls are known for their natural dark hues and incredible glow, and paired with rich 18k gold they feel both timeless and contemporary. Simple. Elegant. Meaningful.

Forged for a moment like this 💛⛰️

This engagement ring was hand-forged in yellow gold and set with a ¾ct round lab-grown diamond — chosen for its timeless brilliance and beautiful fire.

Incoming 🩷 pearls

Thought I’d do a little show & tell on some gorgeous new pearls from my stockist - they always send me the BEST 🙏 and I’ve been using them for over 20years now 😍

I’ve got lots of valentines orders using these gorgeous pearls, they’re soft, rosey and each one so perfectly irregular that no two pieces I create are exactly the same 🥰

Top tip - choose your pink pearls like you choose your preferred rosé colour 😜

Also, have you asked ai for a colour analysis - I did on my jewellery - the jury is still out as I do like to mix metals but it was interesting - mine told me to wear more yellow gold… ok go on then! X
