Fragment Designs is a one-woman operation that designs and creates a stunning variety of pendants, cufflinks, earrings and wedding rings. Working in recycled white, rose and yellow gold as well as sterling silver, much of her work is inspired by nature, in particular woodlands, the night sky, bunnies and dinosaurs.

This just arrived in the post, very excited to read it! It's a fascinating part of history that has a personal link since my great grandfather was one of the 2000 Irish republicans imprisoned in can't wait to get started!

I meant to share this a few weeks back, I have permission from the lovely couple :)
He made the silver ring in a workshop with me, we’d a lovely chat and cake filled day and then we sent it off to be cast from the 18ct gold in his grandads (I think) ring.

Didn’t the cast turn out wonderful! And bonus he gets to keep both rings, and we made the silver one a little for in the warm summer months.

It started again its ok! Woohoooo proper rain! The garden (and me) needed it so much! Its been so warm here! It’s so nice to be in the studio with a bit of a breeze and the sound of rain! Thankfully summer is always a bit quieter business wise and coupled with the crazy heat I’ve been taking it easy not really posting just doing the orders that come in and being mammy otherwise. Its been lovely (not the heat part) and I’m ready to get back to the bench properly now with lots of ideas!

Silver in the Sun! Some lovely Ash rings off to their new homes in tomorrows post. I have made lots of these rings over the years but I still love them! Its the pattern I chose for my own wedding ring.

I can't believe I forgot to share these lovely rings from a workshop a few weeks back! Silly me! It was a hot sticky day in the studio but with the fan and a lot of water and cake we soldiered on :) The ripple ring is now with the caster getting cast into gold from an old family ring 🥰

A Sunday well spent! Feeling tired today so finally finished this I've been working on for a while. 1000 pieces of chill, mostly while listening to the Drama Queens Podcast while the kids watch another episode of Gabby's Dollhouse ! Not bad for £4 from The British Heart Foundation
