Thinking of retiring a piercing? Here’s what usually happens ⬇️

• Fresh piercings can close FAST — sometimes within minutes or hours.
• Older healed piercings may shrink but still leave a small mark or hole.
• You might notice a little tenderness, redness, or crusting at first.
• Some piercings leave tiny scars or dimples — totally normal!
• Cartilage piercings can leave a visible bump or mark even after removal.
• If jewellery is removed too early, the piercing may become irritated or heal awkwardly.
