Fresh off the mill

Every Carbon-Aquatic case starts life as a solid block of marbled forged carbon — made using unidirectional carbon material rather than traditional woven material.

During the forging process, those fibres are compressed into a completely random orientation, with more of the material naturally orienting through the Z-axis of the block.

The result? Every cut through the material exposes a different pattern.

Different swirls. Different streaks. Different grain.

No two blocks are identical, which means no two Carbon-Aquatic cases will ever look exactly the same.

Even across the same watch, the pattern changes as material is machined away and different layers of carbon are exposed.

Individually unique by nature.

The freshly machined carbon-Aquatic case weighs just 4.7g.

Add the DLC-coated hardware — the watch core, caseback, crown, bezel, helium escape valve and sapphire crystal — and that number climbs pretty quickly.

But every one of those parts has a job to do. Together, they give the watch its 300m water-resistance rating.

Fully assembled, it comes in at just 77g.

Not bad for a 42.5mm diver.

Proof of concept // Alpha // Beta // Production.

Ideas become prototypes. Prototypes become watches.

Designed, printed, machined, engraved, tested, changed… then probably changed again.

Some ideas work. Some don’t. Every one pushes the next design a little further.

Probably done far more inefficiently than most… but that’s half the fun.

No shortcuts. No compromises. Just figuring it out, one prototype at a time.
