Broseley WI

Broseley WI Join us in The Methodist Church Hall, Broseley on the second Tuesday of the month @ 7.30pm We are a friendly group, formed in 2010. We nearly always have cake!!

We try to organise fun, exciting meetings and also aim to learn something new. Meetings are varied, we've done belly-dancing, learnt rag-rugging, a jewellery making workshop, held a fund-raising strawberry garden party and been to an Abba Tribute concert. We've had talks on travel in St Helena, the Coast to Coast walk, adjudicating drama festivals and chocolate making. We also have a book club, r

Shropshire Federation annual meeting - inspiring speakers, in particular Professor Lucy Easthope who gave a very enthusiastic, and at times very funny talk, despite the serious message.......it certainly gave everyone lots to think about. Ben Butler and Pip Machin ( Midlands Air Ambulance charity) were also very informative.

We had another lovely theatre visit this week to see Calendar Girls at Theatre Severn by SMTC.

Our 'Dining Out Club' visit to Origins training restaurant at Shrewsbury College.
The food was delicious and the service by the young staff was excellent.
