Back to repairs, resizes and remodels ✨

This beautiful vintage carved coral and diamond ring came in for a careful resize. Here’s a glimpse into just some of the process:

• The band was opened at the back
• A new section of gold, matched to the original carat, was made to perfectly fill the gap. This was intentionally made slightly thicker to ensure a strong, seamless join
• The ring was laser welded — coral can’t go anywhere near heat, so traditional soldering wasn’t an option
• Finally, it was filed, papered and polished until the band matched the original thickness and the join completely disappeared 😉

And the bonus? It fits me now — so of course I had to test how comfortable it felt 💍✨

Ohh it’s Christmas….

Super busy behind the scenes and lots of things I can’t share right now.

So here is a signet ring, made from a mother’s 22ct wedding band and they wanted the original hallmark kept. This makes it a lot more fiddly but hey, I’m always up for a challenge!! And had a signature style engraving added to make it extra personal 🫶

Also when did Instagram change it so you can only do 3 hashtags in your caption??

Honest post time I think. Not really sure how to do this but here goes. This last two years for me has been hard, if I had to put it in one word. Not work but behind the scenes and that is definitely effecting my work.

I don’t want to put a label on it and I’m not really sure what it is but because of everything I’m just finding everything hard. Is it depression? I’m not really sure. But a lot of you see shop me, I have no problem with that at all and I am thankful for all of you. But even the smallest things are just very difficult for me to do right now. I have an amazing group of people helping me behind the scenes. And some close people don’t even know how I’m feeling. But that’s how I deal with it all. In turn this has made me awful at replying, getting jobs done and keeping in touch with all of you. It’s not an excuse but an explanation I guess.

And I guess all I’m asking for is patience. I know what I need to do and I am trying to do it all, but jobs are definitely taking longer than I’m comfortable with. I don’t want to let people down but also know slowly I have been for some.

I have some very dear people helping (you know who you are) as I am doing my best to keep on top of it all.

Not sure what I want to achieve with this post except clarity for everyone. I am so thankful for all of you and with time we’ll all be powering on as we used to. Love you all and here’s to your close friends that are there no matter what 🫶
