Snippets from Sunday - a JOYOUS The Frome Independent - maybe my favourite market of my lil life?! So far!!! 🤠 🤯 Extreme to say, but I wasn’t stressed, I felt so supported by Lottie Foraged Smith , the sun was out, set up went smoothly, we laughed from start to finish, you beautiful magpies were so kind & sweet & patient & encouraging, I did a lil bit of buying from other independents & a trade with Fashion brand 🐇 Artist/ Designer/ Stylist / Promoter 🌞 it was just so good. I even had a (fancy Fromey) doner wrap at the stall 😹 and a cup of ketchup for it & a legend alongside me thought I was pouring a Bloody Mary onto my kebab. I wasn’t 🌝 I love that she thought I was. I only got asked once if I have ADHD. Sore subject tbh. If I had a pound for every time I was asked that at my stall, I could probably buy another kebab.

These juicy gems are coming to The Frome Independent & Dulwich Picture Gallery this month! ❤️‍🔥✨ At some point they’ll wander onto the web, too, and I’ll make them to order. 🕸️🔗🖐️ I sculpt these huge synthetic rubies into the wax & then they’re cast to be encased in raw golden brass. I can make them in recycled sterling & gold too, just saying. 🌝

Here they rest against the chest & the lap of the beautiful Misha who is a massage therapist based here in Bristol. 👐 She’s blessing me with a treatment as a trade, after my big trading weekend. 🥰 What a honey!

This is the most challenging part of any trading day. 🥵 💃 💪 first encouraged me to be bold with colour & build height into my displays, & let’s just say I got bold, temporarily had an eBay ban(!?) because I bought so many props over a short period of time, & my suitcase is heavy as heck. I literally get through like a suitcase a year & despite changing the wheels, they do seem to give up the ghost eventually. 🫠

I’ll be playing Tetris with darling Lottie bright & early this Sunday 6th September for & then I’ll be bringing the board to London for the Makers Market on Sunday 27th September. ✨ 🤩

Necklaces that I’ve sold at ! ❤️‍🔥 Some of them at least… when I’ve remembered to find my phone (behind the stall in the chaos) & take some farewell footage before it leaves me for a new life with you. 👋 ✨ It means a lot that you cuties wear my pieces & so often treasure them. It’s this Sunday!! 📯✨ celebrates & champions South West artisans & producers & it takes over the whole town! 🤩 It runs from March - December on the first Sunday of every month & it’s open from 10am - 3pm. 🌞

I’ll be there this Sunday opposite Boots on the Market Place - with my full hoard of historically inspired trinkets, which I make with love & care & some silliness in East Bristol. 😌🙂‍↔️🪲🫶

I’m super proud of my pal Rosie who launched .jewellery last month & did her first ever . She’ll be back in the car with Lottie & I to bosh out another mega market day. 🤠

We adore seeing you, having a natter, showing you what we labour over & love creating 🥰 & we also love when we find some yummy food at lunchtime. I do apologise if you find us at feeding time. It gets a bit weeeeeird. 🤡 🍽️

I’ll be back at my favourite South West market 👉 The Frome Independent this Sunday 6th September. 💥 Find me on the Market Place opposite Boots in town. 👢✨ There will be absolutely hundreds of independent artisans, crafters & producers to discover across the town, so come along from 10am - 3pm to make a jolly good day of it. Next up 👉💃🧳 This Sunday 6th Sept I’ll be back at my very favourite market The Frome Independent to see you South West beauties. 🌞✨ Then, at the end of the month I’ll be back in London, as I was kindly invited to trade at Dulwich Picture Gallery for their Makers Market on Sunday 27th Sept! 🤠

I’ll have the full hoard in tow & as always you’re so welcome to come & explore my work, have a lil chit chat & buy a piece if you wish. 🥰 There’s no pressure, though.

I feel really inspired to carve some more Treasure Rings & pendant pieces, so I miiiiiight have some special new trinkets. We’ll see! 👀

Thank you SO much to everyone who came along to see my work & to support me this weekend. 🌹 You brought me such joy it It was a pleasure to see old faces, meet new magpies, & to see some cutie pie friends, too. ❤️‍🔥 It was my best day of trade since last November & I hugely appreciate it, because I’ve been navigating some 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟 behind the scenes & I haven’t been able to generate decent money into the business / chaos machine for a lil while. Thanks for helping to oil the machine so I can keep doing this for a living & developing my craft, my business & my artistry into something bigger, better & more sustainable all round. 🥰

Thanks Crafty Fox Market | Est. 2010 for having me & Two Temple Place for being the most incredible host & to superstar Emma Haus Dahlia for her assistance on the day. I felt so held & supported to overcome the anxious feels & stresses ( to set up in good time & put on a shiny show ). 🐿️

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, queued up to get in, to anyone who bought something from me, took a business card, or just said ooooooh & ahhhhh within my earshot. It all means a lot. ❤️‍🔥

Wanna know do I get my semi-precious sweeties?! 🍭🤏 🌈 ☝️All over the place!! And I have a knack for spotting a bead on the pavement, in a crevice, on the beach in the shingle, even when Mum and I stepped off of the plane in Malta. 👁️ That lil agate marble went straight in my pocket. I’m a naughty magpie and I love it. Cash flow management is not my forte however and I was given an eBay ban for a bit. 🤡 🙂‍↔️
