It’s Mental Health Awareness Week.

Why not plan a couple of hours this summer to UNPLUG from normal life and engross yourself in the creativity and colour of beautiful glass designs.

We really appreciate how often people on workshops remark on the benefits to their mental health of taking part.

A couple of days ago we were delighted to announce that bookings for our next workshops had gone live.

We have FUSED GLASS WORKSHOPS on Saturday July 18th in Weston-super-Mare.

There are morning or afternoon 2 hour workshops to choose from. A workshop is £36 (+ booking fee) and is suitable for adults, whether beginners or returners. Included is all glass, tuition and refreshments.

This weekend sees the biennial North Somerset Arts exhibition in Failand Village Hall, North Somerset. Details are at the end of the video that shows the 3 items I’m exhibiting.

Every two years the organisation holds its very popular Arts Week and, in the year in between hosts this excellent exhibition with nearly 50 artists taking part, all in 1 venue.

Free entry. Refreshments available. Car park. Art activities for children.

Here’s a 👀 into the kiln to see 5 of the beautiful items made on our most recent workshops. The 4 on the left were then shaped over a mould into our very popular double curve shape.

We’ve set a date in July for our next workshops and these will be listed here on Facebook in the next couple of days. Keep an eye out. 👀

It can be so so good to have nice things to look forward to during the long days of winter.
