“I had my old wedding ring of 30 years which I wore everyday and had worn so thin, it was cutting into my finger. I wanted to continue wearing my wedding ring, but needed to make it into a new one.
My friend recommended Jacks, so off we set for a 3 hour journey to see if she could help. She looked at my ring and asked some questions about how I wore my ring, did I wear it with other rings and even what my passions in life were. Suddenly the answer was there! My gold ring was re-rolled to form the back of my new ring and some platinum put in the front with embedded diamonds. The ring at the front curved to fit around and showcase my opal engagement ring, but also looks like a horseshoe when worn on its own - my passion is horses!
We went back for a final fitting and then the ring, when completed was sent out to me.
Overall a fantastic experience, a ring I absolutely love and have lots of comments about it being different and ‘special’.”

Lovely meeting &
yesterday for their complimentary engagement ring resize.

Aaron chose my fairmined green sapphire Geo engagement ring, handmade in recycled 18ct yellow gold, finished with my signature hammered texture.

Post-proposal, they realised the ring wasn’t quite the right size. So, they scheduled a resizing appointment with me. While I worked my magic in the workshop, I suggested they check out our new local bookshop / cafe bar

What better way to mull away some time than with some excellent books, coffee or maybe a wine or two. In a lovely, cosy environment amid Stokes Croft, Bristol.

Needless to say, they came back to collect their ring with five new books and now, an engagement ring that fits perfectly.

Meet my newest piece of kit – the beast!

It’s replacing my beloved Dotty the laser and is a serious upgrade. This will make production in the workshop much smoother and more enjoyable.

Dotty was a great little laser but she struggled with chunky silver rings. It wasn’t the laser power but rather the cooling system in such a small box.

When I first got my laser I didn’t expect to use it as much as I do now. This upgrade means improved pinpoint lasering, adjustable settings for fine work and longer working times, thanks to a more efficient cooling system.

I’m still getting used to the settings but I’m enjoying the options.

What does this mean for my customers? Well not much, you’ll still receive the same high-quality workmanship you’ve always enjoyed. Occasionally, some production might be slightly less intensive for Moi. 😁

When I design, I think about the people who wear my work every day. This ombre blue and salt & pepper diamond wedding ring was created to pair with my trilogy oval cups engagement ring - each ring made by hand, right here in my Bristol workshop. I want my jewellery to feel as individual as you are and to stand the test of time, both in design and in how it wears. For me, it’s about more than decoration; it’s about making something personal that you’ll love to wear year after year.

For this bridal ring stack, I worked closely with my customer, showing them my latest designs that I knew would complement their original Jacks Turner trilogy engagement ring. A visit to the workshop meant they could see a mock-up of the ring, and together we chose the gemstone that best complemented the teal sapphire in their engagement ring. It made the whole process truly personal and let them be a real part of the final design.
