My first ever knit as an adult from a year ago! Time flies.

A couple weeks ago I had a horrible case of concussion. I stepped back from crochet and posting. Slowed myself right down.

I realised I've been placing so much pressure on myself to keep up with posting and with pushing out content that it started to not feel genuine, to me.

I wanna go back to posting random s**t and not trying to make the perfect image all the time. I wanna slow down and just have fun in creating and sharing without this pressure I place on myself.

I just wanna create, so I'm just gonna create.

Mari Elin Top Pattern Release 🫶

Please welcome my newest edition... The Mari Elin Top.

This top was inspired by the beautiful seas and beaches of my home. Mari is a given Welsh name meaning "sea", and Elin meaning "light". Together reflects how I feel thinking about the heavenly beaches around where I grew up.

Mari Elin is a top down pattern established laid flat and continued in the round, which means there's no sewing involved!

Suitable for any weight yarn and any fibre type.

I have had so much fun recently experimenting and learning new things. Here's some hanks I've made whilst trying out new techniques and practicing with my wheel.

I'm currently out getting some inspiration for future spins from Eryri Park in Wales. I'm itching to start experimenting with textures and colours to bring the Welsh nature to life in my projects.

There are so many ways you can customise this top to make it truly your own and fit you the way you want to a t.

The deadline will be at the end of a 4 week period to complete this pattern from the time of receiving the pattern.

Material information:
• Any weight yarn - I used Drop Belle (DK/weight 3) 240g/576m
• 1mm hook size up from recommended for yarn
