These purses are made from embroidered patches made for the minority tribals in Southern China, North Vietnam and Northern Thailand. They are used traditionally by Miao, Bai and Zhang people to make baby slings/carriers, all decorated with super bright auspicious flowers and symbols to keep the baby happy, healthy and safe!
There is always an interesting history behind even the smallest things..... that's why we are so attracted to them!
