This year on Christmas Day, I had 3 little beautiful elves, who were gonna help me on a mission.

First of all, they were going to cut my hair-

2nd of all and most importantly - they wanted to donate my hair to to make wigs for children who have lost their hair.

So this was literally a full circle situation for me.
Winning all round, the beautiful girlies, got to cut someone’s hair- which I know will be super rare- so a random experience.

Donating the hair to such a beautiful cause, after me loosing my own hair 15 years ago- for absolutely no reason- and being terrified and told it would never grow back. I lost it all in 2 days. It was an enormous shock. It took 2 years of intensive steroid treatment for it to start to grow again.

But. It’s the reason I started making jewellery. As I have to pour myself into learning something everytime I am unwell in my life. So it was the birth of . I have always had to turn negative situations into something positive, it’s what having an artists soul does to you.

So not only did I get the best haircut in town- by my favourite people on the planet-

But beauty continues from this point.

So anyone who is getting their hair cut, please think before you do- check out the website for length needs etc.

And do something beautiful with your hair.
Because, believe me when I say- it is the weirdest and deeply unpleasant thing- loosing it.

Howdy folks of Instagram and Facebook.
So I actually managed to go out, after about 6 months, this is the first time- out in the world except for doctors apps. I needed to dress up. I needed to be magical.

I got to wear my incredible frock 😍
Cascading pink glitter, over a minty green crazy princess ensemble, with the fabulous earrings. I also wore a necklace made by my friend Fiona .cafe

First of all I went to see the fabulous to check out her amazing wears, in her pop up- whose last day is today! So go if you can!! Have a rummage in Sandra’s sack.. it’s fun 👌👌💋❤️‍🔥 so lovely to see you, the best pop up I have ever seen- it looked like it was just Lucy’s shop. She works so hard- she is absolutely amazing to me. In awe 👌👌
(And I forgot to take pictures!!) it’s at 40 Gloucester Road.

Then I went to our annual Christmas private view which was fabulous as always, Lola, Tony and Jules are just the most beautiful team- who attract beautiful, beautiful people. I met some incredible people, whose names escape me!! Some stayed, Jim and Jimmy and Nicky- but everyone else, I hope they find me on here.

I am someone who never “feels” lonely. But last night, getting an opportunity to talk to a stranger, to connect, to bond, even briefly- in that moment, it made me realise- f**k, I am and do get lonely for connection. Having chronic health, being in pain, means you are much less palatable to the world. No fun to be around. So you (I ) hide a lot.

But last night was beautiful inspite of the fact, the weather was shocking. My poor friend Gill, was exhausted with all the crazy weather and helping me with the wheelchair etc- it’s stressful stuff, going out is not easy anymore- with disabilities. A big thank you to Gill, one of my best friends. She really went far above and beyond 😞BIG LOVE

I forgot to take ANY pictures of the venue, with other people, of my jewellery, all I got is the before pictures..it was sensory overload as soon as I was out.

Hello fair folks of Instagram and Facebook! I am so sorry I have neglected thee, for so long now! These pictures are from a friends birthday party in the summer, where I dressed up as a lighthouse 😍😍♥️❤️‍🔥one of the very few times I have actually been out of the house this year. (Apologies for my gormless expressions 😂😂)

Sadly, in February my health took a turn for the worse, my walking which was already a problem, got much, much worse. Meaning I need a stick wherever I go now. Stairs are impossible. I am heading towards needing a wheelchair full time soon.

I have not been able to be creative since Feb, the longest time in my life- and that has been so hard. I have been in so much pain, and learning how to do daily things all over again with my new restrictions, everything has been a nightmare.

In July I had minor surgery, but because of the state I was in before, it means healing is not happening quickly. I have an ever growing list of diagnosis, that I am learning to live with. But my creativity has taken a hit.

I am just letting everyone know, that an abundance of stock is now available in for the Christmas period, as I have closed my online stores! As just to add insult to injury- I now have to move house as well 🙄😞

I also still have some stock so those are the best two places to grab a goody for chrimbo.

Beyond that, I had some EXTREMELY exciting news yesterday, which will stay hush hush until next year.. some other big projects coming up, so I am just hoping that my health starts to make a turnaround. Because this, I have had enough of now!!

P.S. My awesome onesie- is made by my dear friend with her incredible brand this is quite possibly the coolest outfit on Earth- and I knew immediately it was perfect for a lighthouse outfit 😍😍😍😍

I decided to include- as the writing is as beautiful as the make up artistry.

In my exciting tenure as a fashion intern last year, my colleague and I were tasked with making educational content. Our minds flowed in harmony as the videos released. We spoke about Vivienne Westwood’s revival and modernisation of the corset, Christian Lacroix’s legacy, Mark Erksine-Pullin (Mr Pearl) and his extraordinary corsetry. The freedom to speak on what we wanted set us apart from many educational creators, although my synonymous obscenities were not permitted.

Akin to my writing, my videos aimed to both educate and impel. The best example of this in action would be where I spoke on Pat McGrath.

She is a globally renowned makeup artist, but a walking contradiction at the same time. Having only studied an art foundation course at Northampton college, McGrath found her way into the industry by practicing bold individuality and perpetual experimentation.

The beauty of her creativity lies in its unpredictably. It invites you to the most vulnerable parts of her spirit.

I feel a similar level of vulnerability in the music of Max Everest, a dear friend of mine. His artistry, like Pat McGrath’s, is celestial upon first impression, but deeply layered and exposing with further inspection. Max encourages authentic expression through trial and error. He has never failed to uplift me in my darkest moments. His music, both released and unreleased, invites you to his complicated yet beautifully creative mind with ambiguous lyrics and a catchy rhythm.

Through pure serendipity, Max and I started hanging out again in 2020 and began skateboarding. It was then where we mutually began to explore our artistic identities and watched each other grow

There’s nothing quite like, receiving photo’s of customers and their pieces! It’s so exciting to see how they have been styled, and what they look like on their forever human. Especially, when their forever human is the beautiful .

My necklace and earrings just seamlessly blend with the colour of one of her recent makes (the dress) and her beautiful hair.

It’s quotes literally a match made in heaven.
Honestly, my heart skips a beat when I see these photo’s- it really makes my heart sing 😍😍😍

is a very talented seamstress, if you are a sewist or know any- that are interested etc. Also, she has started to make patterns- which is very exciting 🥹🥹🌈

This one is the last of my ten collars! I did it- but slowly. This was super hard as I have not even attempted to do a reversible one before..

So the images of this- ARE THE SAME COLLAR .. 😱😱
This was for a friend and fellow maker and I knew her colour palette, so I was desperately trying to fit all her favourite colour ways in one collar- which is totally impossible by the way!

Collars have a particular style- so I can’t do like I would with a necklace.

I promise, I do make other things than collars. I am just in a collar battle with myself right now.. I have afew more styles I wanna do too.

But, with my projects often take years to plan- to get all the parts etc to start.

I have afew commissioned collars too.

Nearly at the 10 stage, 2 left after this one.
This one is quite sane simple- I thought.
