I have a thing for sacred buildings.
Churches, temples, the smell of incense and beeswax, burning candles, flowers, carvings, altars dripping in gold, colourful stained glass windows, painted icons, gods and goddesses.
It feels me with joy and awe, I lose myself in all the details, I am buzzing and end up photographing all the corners, textures, colours, and intricate patterns that feed my soul and my work in a way I can’t fully explain.
My camera is full of these pictures, and I thought I would share some of what inspires me 💛.

These wedding bands have a unique story 💛.
A. commissioned a ring to propose on a very special weekend in Italy. Strolling in the streets of Florence, M. found a diamond solitaire set in white gold on the floor moments before A. proposed in a garden.
The universe really wanted those two to get married ✨!
The ring found in Florence had to be part of their wedding bands. They also had a family ring that we decided to keep for a future project, as they wanted their bands to be white gold.
We added 9 carat white gold to the 18 carat white gold of the solitaire, and the alloy of their bands turned out to be a beautiful warm silver colour.
Her band is the signature Lily Eternity Diamond Band design, and his is a flat band with a hammered and brushed finish ✨.

Eva ring in buttery 18 carat yellow gold set with a beautiful indigo tourmaline and two rose cut diamonds 💛.
This one was commissioned by S for a surprise Winter proposal 🩵❄️. And I recently made the bands for their Early Summer wedding 😊.
The Eva ring is such a beautiful and versatile design.
I love the width of the band, and the secret diamond detail at the back of the shank.
It can be personalised with the stone of your choice.

Almost half way through October and reflecting on a busy September ✨. Plenty of bench time after a hot Summer that sometimes made it hard to find the motivation to work in a boiling workshop 🔥. I have a thing for sacred buildings.
Churches, temples, the smell of incense and beeswax, burning candles, flowers, carvings, altars dripping in gold, colourful stained glass windows, painted icons, gods and goddesses.
