The biggest surprise of the year has undoubtedly been our NEW Bespoke Manufacture Masterclass Programme.

This traditional skills-based two-part course, delivered over two separate four-day blocks, sold out almost immediately. Combining traditional goldsmithing methods with modern manufacturing techniques, the response has exceeded all expectations.

Due to demand, we are exploring opportunities to repeat the part one of programme before Christmas and the second part again in early 2027.

The Jewellers Academy in Yorkshire is the UK’s leading commercial training facility for the jewellery industry, and it is excited to announce the launch of its newly structured Level 3 Diploma, a comprehensive 40-week course training applicants commercially from the beginning of their career journey. In addition, an advanced Level 4 Diploma, extending from 41 to 80 weeks attending one day per week at the award-winning Yorkshire facility, has also been introduced on our website. Applications for these courses have already started pouring in within hours of the announcement.

Our dedicated team has spent the last seven months preparing for the launch of the founders vision of a new concept in deliverings as industry-approved online training platform. This modern educational approach will be supported by some of the best global brands in tools and equipment.

Join us at Jewellers Academy in Yorkshire to develop foundational skills or enhance your training as a quality silversmith, goldsmith, or watchmaker. We are excited to announce the upcoming Spring series of 'hands-on' short courses on 31st January, which will be held at our commercial training facility in the heart of Yorkshire. These courses have been tweaked to include even more valuable information.

Our team is busy with significant developments and expansions, and we anticipate the launch of our new website soon. We believe that 2026 will mark a transformative year for training in the jewellery sector, offering affordable options for aspiring applicants.

This autumn, we will introduce an innovative online Diploma training program as well as a new hands-on Level 4 course in stone setting. In October we will unveil the long-awaited 41-80 week Diploma Course, designed for those who have completed our award-winning 1-40 week course or are self taught to a good standard (Bench tested) . This follow-on course requires participants to attend one day per week, and only the top 40 applicants will be invited for interviews. Existing applicants do not need to reapply, but are encouraged to acknowledge the covering email forwarded. With over 300 applicants annually received for the prestigious 6 places it's important to apply early.

These changes promise to be positive, offering exciting opportunities for individuals looking to learn a new trade on a part-time basis. As 'AI' continues to impact administrative roles across various sectors, with many job losses expected, there has never been a better time to become a skilled tradesperson. We are excited to announce that several leading tools and equipment brands have expressed interest in collaborating with us, which speaks volumes about our progress, so watch this space!

As we look ahead to 2026, we are particularly excited to celebrate our 25th anniversary, having founded the Academy in 2001. For many years, we operated on a small scale, but taking the plunge to expand in 2013 and again in 2019 was one of the best decisions we've ever made as a business.

Our commitment to development and expansion will continue at an unprecedented pace in 2026. We truly believe we can transform the way online training is offered and delivered. Change is good, and we aim to make quality education affordable for all!
