Our Story
Each of our beautiful pieces of jewellery is hand-painted using coloured, melted wax and sealed beneath thick glass which magnifies enhances and protects the intricate patterning. Some of the jewellery features stunning abstract patterning that is created with a craft iron and some is skillfully and painstakingly created using a hot stylus to form beautiful seascapes and landscapes. Each piece is a tiny work of art in itself. The process was developed by artist and jewellery designer Valerie Blount and you can see her creating her jewellery in her Shrewsbury Showcase Store in the Pride Hill Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury. Much of the jewellery has been hand-crafted in sterling silver and is laser marked with the instantly recognisable Val B’s Wax honeycomb logo. Val B’s Wax Jewellery is becoming increasingly popular and you can now buy it in a variety of shops, galleries, museums and Heritage Sites all across England Wales and Scotland.
