A name on silver is never just a name.

This LUCA pendant was made for Alfie as a surprise for Amy. I made it back in January and honestly forgot about it until he got back in touch recently.

Seeing Amy’s reaction when she finally received it is exactly why I do this. You never really know what that moment will mean to someone until they’re holding it in their hands.

We’re now talking about adding another one of their children’s names to the piece, which is something I love about bespoke jewellery.

As your family grows, and life changes, these pieces don’t have to stay the same. They can grow with you, carry more meaning, and become part of your story over time.

Our client came to us wearing two rings she loved, but both had become worn over time and no longer felt like they were at their best.

We took her outdated diamond cluster ring and worn diamond eternity ring and transformed them into a beautiful yellow gold single stone ring with diamond set shoulders. By reusing her existing diamonds, we were able to create something far more refined and wearable while also giving her money back from the scrap gold value from the original rings.

We also created one of our own signature Ickaldypickaldy rings in yellow gold. A design we created ourselves featuring an oval diamond, pear shaped diamond, emerald cut diamond and cushion shaped diamond all brought together in one striking piece.

Every now and then, we create a piece that really stops us in our tracks, and this eternity ring was one of them.

Our client Sue brought us the three emerald cut diamonds from her original ring, and together we reworked them into this emerald cut rub over channel set eternity ring, adding further diamonds to complete the design. Seeing the transformation from what the ring once was to what it is now made this piece feel like a true upgrade while still keeping the sentimental side of the original ring at the heart of it.

The finished ring has such a different presence to the original piece, and the clean lines of the emerald cuts work perfectly in this setting. A special piece for Sue and one we genuinely loved creating.

There’s a lot that can be done during a refurbishment when the right techniques are used. In this video we show how we repaired a damaged stainless steel Rolex Sea Dweller case where a chunk of metal was missing from one of the lugs. Rather than replacing the case, we carefully fed stainless steel wire back into the damaged area to rebuild the missing section.

Once the metal had been rebuilt, the excess was filed back by hand before being sandpapered and polished to match the original finish of the watch. The aim is always to restore the watch as naturally as possible while keeping the finished result clean and seamless.

After the refurbishment was complete, you genuinely couldn’t tell where the damage had been. We’re really pleased with how this one turned out and it’s always satisfying bringing a watch back to this condition.

Tiny screw. Big problem… until it’s made properly.

Every screw for our screw bangles is handmade in solid gold, shaped, threaded and fitted by hand to match perfectly. Sounds simple — it isn’t.

Most replacements we see have been cross-threaded, overtightened or completely lost after being treated like a normal screw. One wrong turn and the whole fitting can be ruined.

That’s why we take time making them properly instead of rushing the job. Precision matters when it’s holding together a piece you wear every day.

If your screw bangle feels loose, damaged or the thread doesn’t feel right anymore, get it sorted before it becomes a bigger repair.

This one meant a lot to us.

Callum brought in his great grandad’s 13mm yellow gold wedding ring. It was too wide for him to wear, but replacing it was never an option… the sentimental value mattered more than anything.

This wasn’t a quick job either, there were hours and hours of work behind the scenes that we couldn’t fully capture, but here’s what we created from it.

We cut the original ring down and transformed part of it into Callum’s 6mm wedding band, shaped and finished exactly how he wanted.

From the remaining gold, we hand-made Kathryn’s wedding ring, carefully shaped to fit perfectly around her emerald cut halo engagement ring and finished with diamond setting.

Then using every last bit of gold left, including scrap and additional pieces, we melted it all down, reworked it, and created four round disc pendants to be passed on to other members of the family.

One ring turned into five new pieces.

Same gold. Same story. Still in the family… just carried in different ways.

If you’ve got jewellery sitting unworn, there’s usually more potential in it than you think.
