I first began making jewellery from things like safety pins and buttons when I was 11! I now have progressed to using silver and beads and have been producing gifts for family and friends for a few years now. I now have a proper workbench and room instead of taking over the kitchen worktop!! This means that I can spend much more time designing and making lovely jewellery. I love to make something unique and personalised for people from charms to necklaces and lots more in between, so if you have an idea that you would like to discuss please get in touch.

Wax Wednesday….I’ve been working on metal pieces today so haven’t got any wax dust on my bench, but I have got these three rings ready to go to the caster. They will be cast into silver and then in Term 2 I will learn how to clean up the castings and set the stones into two of them. I also had my first 1-2-1 with my mentor Jo from Joanne Hunt | Jewellery Designer this morning. Great to have a good chat and thanks for the advice 🥰

Wax Wednesday…. Rings are done, not perfect but enough I hope 🤞🏻 They need to be sent off to be cast into silver, and then in Term 2 of the Diploma, January 2027 we will set the stones once the casts are cleaned up!

I still have my pendants and signet rings to finish though but the timeframe isn’t as tight on those. The weeks keep flying 😳🫣🤦🏻‍♀️

This time last week I was enjoying a windy and sunny birthday walk on Whitesands beach 🥰🌬️☀️ I wanted to visit my favourite rocks, smooth and worn by the water and encrusted with barnacles to show you where a lot of my inspiration for my jewellery comes from. I can’t come away without more photos of them and new sand patterns every visit.
A bit of vitamin sea is good for the soul 🥰
