Exquisite Antique Edwardian Diamond 18ct White Gold `Daisy` Cluster Drop Earrings.

Genuine Antique pair dating from the Late Victorian / Edwardian period, circa 1890 - 1910, so rare to find today.

You are sure to be the `Belle of the ball` in these stunning drop earrings.

Fine quality earrings, each handmade with a diamond cluster and there is a diamond suspended above. The clusters consist of one large European cut diamond in the centre and 10 smaller old European cut diamonds arranged around the principal stone in a daisy cluster. The clusters have Shepards crooks which are also manufactured in 18ct white gold.
The diamonds are mounted in 18ct white gold and are held securely in place by claws.

We believe that the finest old European cut diamonds carry a unique character and charm, unparalleled against their modern counterparts.

Studying under magnification shows handcrafting and hand soldering; these miniature works of art need to be studied, and you need to know the manufacturing process to fully appreciate their character. A modern one would be cast in one piece, having little `definition` left after the casting process.

Sure to become a favourite `go-to` evening/drop pair, they really are a rare find, now looking for a new `forever home`.

The central old European cut diamond measures 4.4mm x 4.1mm. The outer diamonds measure 3.2mm in diameter.
Diamonds above the cluster measure 2.6mm in diameter.
Each earring has an estimate of 1.5 carat each.

Cluster measures 12.5mm in diameter and 7.8mm in depth.
Overall measurement of approx. 39.8mm x 12.5mm and 7.8mm in depth.

Combined weight 4.7g

Unmarked, test 18ct gold.

Exceptionally Pretty Antique Georgian Ornate 15ct Gold Picture Locket. Much heavier and more elaborate than others I have seen.

A great quality antique picture locket manufactured in 15ct gold. Superb deep chasing into solid 15ct gold.

Certificated Natural Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond Odeonesque Ring.

This stunning piece is crafted in 18ct gold, with the shank and certificated natural sapphire setting in yellow gold and the diamond setting in white gold. This superb quality ring weighs over 15 grams!
The Sapphires are the loveliest velvet blue, tricky to capture the beauty in a photograph.

This piece is a typical post-deco style often known as Odeonesque, a grandeur style reminiscent of New York skyline architecture.

The certified cushion-cut natural sapphires boast an impressive combined carat weight of over 4 carats and are set in a flush rub-over setting.
These are approved by laboratory testing that they are natural, have not been heat-treated and come from Ceylon (Sri Lanka).

The natural earth mined diamonds weigh approximately 0.30ct each, totalling 1.8ct, and are thread and grain set, clean and white, appraised G/H colour SI/VS clarity.

Both setting types allow for the stones to be seated into the gold, meaning no sharp claws to catch on clothing

The multi-strand shank is made of 5 x 1.1mm wide bands. That fan out to meet the setting.

Finger size UK M 1/2, US 6 1/4. Please contact us first before purchase to discuss potential sizing options

Weight 15.g
Total setting dimensions 14.7mm x 18.6mm
Depth from finger to sapphire table 10.0mm
