For more than a decade we have been using traditional techniques to craft strange and unusual jewellery by hand, here in our Birmingham workshop. Our small team is led by Jo Herriotts, a self-proclaimed macabre marvel with a love of rock and heavy metal music and a passion for the dark and creepy… Jo’s influences and lifelong creativity are evident in the jewellery she makes – it exists in the spa

ce where the grotesque and beautiful meet. It’s quite likely that your Hellcat skull ring, earrings, necklace, bracelet or other gothic design were made by Jo herself – no piece leaves our Jewellery Quarter workshop without Jo having her hands on it.

A custom twist on a collection favourite. 🖤 One of our clients chose to have our iconic skull engagement ring crafted in striking white gold, pairing a mesmerising, one-of-a-kind salt and pepper diamond with amethyst accent shoulder stones for their partner.

When asked me to make a memorial piece, we both knew just how important and special it needed to be. There wasn't a strict design brief, but by working closely together, we brought this vision to life. I designed this ornamental silver ring with dark, delicate details, featuring a deep red resin center to hold those meaningful memories forever. 🥀✨

The "Yes" came first; the gold followed. ✨

Nat proposed to Ed with nothing but a promise, and they found this beautiful vintage 9ct signet ring together the very next day.

To make it truly theirs, they brought it to us to have it hand-engraved. We added Nat’s monogram—a permanent seal on a beautiful new chapter and a piece of her for Ed to wear every day.

There is something so special about taking a second-hand treasure and giving it a personal soul.

For the one that embraces the dark side of romance. This one-of-a-kind piece reimagines traditional elegance with a macabre twist.

At the heart is a pear-cut salt and pepper diamond, full of unique cosmic inclusions, surrounded by a sharp halo of midnight-black spinel's. Set in 9ct yellow gold, the band is flanked by two hand-carved skulls—a reminder that some promises are truly eternal.
