Seed by mi 3D Pet Jewellery & Figurine 縱使我們沒有什麼可以讓寵物起死回生的魔法，至少可以給主子心靈慰藉，?

品牌的誕生 :~
Seed by mi 是由香港的設計師 Sammi Tang 及電腦動畫師 Khaki Lee 兩人組成。一開始，Khaki因興趣購下一台3D列印機，但是沒有構思該列印些什麼。Sammi因為養了兩隻貓及一隻狗，所以就問Khaki，可否幫她製作寵物造型飾物。

Sammi身邊的朋友看到她佩戴自己寵物的飾物，覺得非常可愛；什至逛街時，店員看到也會稱讚，更會查詢在那裡買。就這樣，他們兩個就開始幫別人訂製產品。

他們發現，很多人訂製寵物飾物，是因為懷念自己的寵物。客人收到自己產品的時候，住住表示非常感謝。他們突然發覺，自己在做的，不只是一個飾物，還是一份安慰。

就這樣，他們於2013年9月創立Seed by mi品牌。主要創作寵物飾品，小毛孩獻出全部的愛，是家庭一份子。但是往往在市面上很難找到訂製寵物飾物，Seed by mi 提供多品種選擇以滿足需要。

Seed的由來 :~
品牌名稱Seed，對他們來說有著一種意義。出身在香港，生活節奏急促，工作壓力大。下班後雖然很累，在工餘時間設計立體打印飾物，專注在設計上，從設計／電腦建模／打印／後期加工，感覺好像種子在自己的適心照顧下，一點一點成長，因此取名Seed。

3D列印機 :~
Seed by mi 使用美國品牌的沉積型3D列印機，體積比較細，約微波爐尺寸，屬家用類型；價錢方面，算是一般人能負擔得起的價格；而打印質素又比入門機優良。

沉積型3D列印機 FDM(Fused Deposition Modeling) :~
這是一個熔融沉積造型技術：把物料加熱至190~230度，物料變得軟身，成流質狀，經印咀唧出。印咀可前後左右移動，因而印出一個平面；打印完成一個平面後， 在第一個平面上打印第二個面平；如此類推，就能完成一件立體作品了。

沉積型3D列印方法，有著它獨有的橫向紋理，有別於一般鑄模產品。每件也是單品打印，再逐一人手加工，製作需時。由設計/電腦建模/打磨修飾到上色及包裝，均由自家製作，控制產品質素。

I’ve been quietly working on these hand-painted cat magnets, each one lovingly crafted with its own little personality. No two are exactly the same — just like our feline friends 💛

They’ll be arriving very soon at Chillchill Cat Shop in Exchange Square, Leeds, so keep an eye out if you’re nearby! Whether you’re a cat lover or just want to add a touch of charm to your space, these tiny artworks are made to make you smile.

It’s been a while since I last updated Seed by mi. Thank you so much for your patience during this quiet period. Last summer I moved to Manchester, and because of some personal reasons, I’m unable to join craft markets at the moment.

You can also find Seed by mi at Chillchillcats located in Corn Exchange, Leeds! 🐾

It’s an absolutely amazing craft shop filled with beautiful cat-inspired products — truly a little paradise for cat lovers. I’m so happy to know the shop owner, Cindy, who is also from Hong Kong like me. She’s an incredibly talented artist. If you’re based in Manchester, you may have seen her paintings at Exchange Square during the Lunar New Year markets recently!

It’s such an honour to be one of the artists in Chillchillcats.

If you’re a cat lover, don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in this furry little world 🐱💛

Back in early 2021, when I was still in Hong Kong, a customer ordered a light golden hamster ring—not to wear, but to keep as a cherished treasure. 🐹💛
Four years later, she reached out again. This time, it was for her mum’s beloved cat, who had passed away a month ago. Without hesitation, she thought of me. Instead of a ring, she chose a pendant—something that stays close to the heart. 💖🐾
