SAVE BEWDLEY POST OFFICE

Message from Councillor Dan Morehead

As many of you are aware Morrisons have announced they are closing the shop and Post Office Load Street in Bewdley in July.

Firstly my thoughts go to all of the staff there, many who have worked in that shop for a long time during a very unsettling and worrying time for them.

Secondly, we all know how much of a critical service the Post Office is to the residents of Bewdley and we must, together, do all we can to save it.

I have been liaising with our MP Mark Garnier and we have started the petition below which we will use to lobby those responsible for providing a Post Office service in Bewdley. We can’t promise we will save it but can promise to all we can.

Please take a moment to fill it in and share with as many people as you can and support us in our efforts.
