My repurposing challenge today is to transform a bag of 100 secondhand golf tees into sustainable and unique statement necklaces.

Reimagining parts from vintage wooden toy horses has been a really fun project. I’ve made the heads into pendants and legs, hooves and bodies have made excellent beads.
Gallop off to the pub in these and I guarantee you’ll be the mane attraction 🐎 🐴

I thought repurposing this old light fitting into a one-off statement necklace was going to be a challenge. But as soon as I laid it out, I could see immediately what needed to happen. Many of the beaded tassels were missing so I grouped the remaining ones together to form a fringe. I then made a circle of vintage beads to the centre and it now hangs on a chunky necklace of magnificent brass, and vintage glass beads. Enjoy wearing it knowing it’s the only one, anywhere!

Childhood nostalgia can be so powerful - and who says jewellery has to be serious?

I have transformed my latest preloved find, a whimsical vintage spinning top, into a versatile statement necklace. It’s a piece that will provoke conversation and I can guarantee you won’t see anywhere else!

I have made each circle by weaving tiny beads together and have linked them together into a long necklace which can also be worn as a shorter version.
