His studio, situated in beautiful Belper, runs weekly jewellery making workshops. Getting married is one of the most special events in a person’s life, and each wedding is unique to the couple who are “tying the knot”. When planning a wedding the couple think very carefully about every aspect of
their special day – church service or registry office, bride’s dress, flowers, reception, honeymoon… But the only things that physically stay with you after the wedding day is over are the rings, so why not design your own wedding rings and have them made by a master craftsman? Or, if you’re feeling really adventurous, why not design and make them yourself under his expert tuition? What better way to demonstrate the uniqueness of your relationship than by making your own wedding rings to your own design, possibly by recycling vintage jewellery handed down as a family heirloom. Rather than leaving it languishing in your jewellery box why not incorporate that piece of family history into your own wedding ring. Wedding rings can be designed and crafted to fit with and around your engagement ring or can even recycle the materials of your engagement ring within the new ring.
