Lot 42 in our upcoming Art Auction - Diana Hadden, ‘REFLECTIONS BLUE’

Diana Hadden was born in Belfast and worked as a doctor for over 30 years before attending the University of Ulster to study Fine and Applied Art. Many of her works explore cities in the rain and how it impacts our perception of movement and light, distorting vision to become something more abstract.

Persian rugs represent one of the most enduring traditions of textile craftsmanship, prized for their artistry, technical excellence and cultural significance. Woven by hand and distinguished by regional designs, intricate motifs and rich natural colour palettes, they remain highly sought after by collectors around the world.

Our May Antiques & Furniture Auction presented an attractive group of Persian rugs, which generated considerable interest and achieved brilliant results across the sale.
