Don’t worry the lovely little doggy nose print charm was found! 😂 If you’re wondering why I didn’t just pour out the barrel, it’s because it is filled 1000’s of tiny magnetic pins which get everywhere unless you do it by hand. Time consuming when you’re looking for something small but worth it.

Watching! Always watching! That moment silver melts and you have to juggle keeping the blow torch in place to keep the heat, hold the tongs securely and pour into your cast.

It’s always my favourite part, art made in seconds and before you know it although the metal is still red hot it’s cooled enough to solidify, waiting for you to take apart the mould, revealing the beauty within.

This design began with a simple but powerful memory — the very first shotgun she had ever fired.
