The Ithaca in Ithaca… every Odyssey needs a hero! 😂💚🇬🇷

Our family holiday to Kefalonia was the perfect opportunity to visit Ithaca, part of the inspiration behind our Odyssey Collection, and to capture our Ithaca Malachite Necklace in its namesake home. I’d been dreaming of this photoshoot for months!

We’d saved the boat trip for yesterday, as it looked like our best chance of calm weather, with the rest of the week forecast to be too windy to sail before we head home. But then my daughter felt poorly, so I stayed behind while the boys set sail without us! 🤢🌊

I thought our Ithaca photoshoot was destined to remain a dream. But every Odyssey needs a hero, and the boys saved the day by capturing this little piece of magic from the boat, with our Ithaca necklace and Ithaca finally in the same frame. 🥹💚

Not quite the photoshoot I’d planned, but perhaps a fitting reminder that every journey has its unexpected twists, and sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones.
