We might be 2 weeks into January but we have been having a bit of a break at Inplico! We are back open as usual and ready for 2026!

A few fun facts from our whirlwind year:

↕️ We went up and down the spiral stairs 2352 times between us.

☕️ Roz consumed 156 cups of tea, Caris 45

🧁 Between us, we consumed 42 cinnamon buns (thanks )

🥪 We forgot to bring lunch and consequently relied on for 85 sandwiches

🏥 Roz made a fool of herself by impaling her thumb with precisely 1 saw blade (image redacted). Not sure what we would do without the High Street Pharmacy!

📺 We had Friends on in the background for 960 hours…still can’t get over that it’s not on anymore!

You might also be surprised to know that we did many many jewellery repairs, a whole lot of remodelling and an amazing amount of ring sizing! 🔨

We had our best Christmas ever and we are eternally grateful for every one of you who trusts us with your jewellery at Inplico! ❤️

We are taking a break now as it's been very full on. We will re-open on 13th January. Our phone line will not be monitored during this time but we will be monitoring emails, replies will be slower then usual.

This is the most difficult stone I have ever set. ⚒️

Opals are known for being very brittle and very fragile, but they're also stunning, so making jewellery from them is always fun! 🌟

This is an Australian boulder opal brought back by a customer who wanted it set in their gold.

This stone wasn't flat on both sides! I had to make a bespoke gold support structure to sit behind the stone to make sure it survived the process.

I'm super pleased with the result, and it was even better when the man who trained me (some of you may remember Rob who used to run the shop before me) said 'fair play Roz, I wouldn't have touched that'. Little bit of a proud Roz moment.

Did you know we offer a full engraving service at Inplico? We can engrave pretty much anything you want including handwriting and photographs. We can engrave the inside of rings aswell as the outside.

We can even touch up engravings that have worn away and need touching up. 🎇
