Aspull RUFC are delighted to announce First Choice Jewellers as the official player sponsor of Ray Alston for the 2026/27 season.

Ray is a product of our junior section and represents the third generation of the Alston family to pull on an Aspull shirt. After more than 12 years at the club, he’s now making the exciting step into senior rugby – a journey built on commitment, hard work and a genuine love for the game.

Away from the club, Ray is also studying at the College of Rugby, developing his understanding of the sport both on and off the pitch. His dedication to improving himself reflects everything we want to see in our young players.

We’re delighted to announce that First Choice Jewellers are now the proud player sponsor of Ray Alston for the 2026/27 season at Aspull Rugby Club.

Ray has been a dedicated part of the Aspull Rugby Club family for over 12 years, and is the third generation of Alston males to be part of the club. This shows commitment, passion and determination. As he prepares to begin his senior rugby journey, we’re excited to support him as he takes this next big step in his career.

Away from the pitch, Ray is also studying at the College of Rugby, where he’s developing his understanding of the game through theory and analysis. It’s fantastic to see him investing in his future, building the knowledge and skills to become much more than just a player.
