Streetlife 3 “A Nightmare on Market Avenue” is over a 9 day period starting on Friday October 24th right through to Saturday November 1st in and around Market Avenue Ashton under Lyne.

Various businesses are taking part with unique attractions and activities in each building. The avenue will be decorated with spooky decorations and eerie sound and lights, get in the spirit and experience the magic of Halloween!

Here is a list of what is on and how to book.

• Vigils & Workshops. Every day at 3pm from 24th October all the way to 1st November. Moon & Back Bar 6 Market Avenue Ashton under Lyne. Free entry, to reserve a space email [email protected].

• Retro Gaming Arcade. Open every day from 24th October all the way to 1st November. 2/4 Market Avenue (old Sorrentos coffee shop) Ashton under Lyne. £3 entry, or free entry to anyone in Halloween fancy dress or costume.

• Pop-Up Cinema. Open every day from 24th October all the way to 1st November. 12pm & 2pm screenings all ages. 7pm & 9pm adults only. Free entry.

• Meet & Greet with Horror Characters. 24th, 25th, 26th October from midday each day. Zombie walk each day at 4pm & 7pm meet point Moon & Back 6 Market Avenue Ashton under Lyne. Free.

• Free Facepainting. Every day 24th October all the way to 1st November from 10am-4pm. The Altar of The Juggernaut 15 Market Avenue Ashton under Lyne.

• Pumpkin Hunt. Every day 24th October all the way to 1st November from 10am-4pm. Starts at Food & Thorn 119 Stamford Street Ashton under Lyne.

• Pumpkin Crafting competition. Drop off your pumpkin between 22nd-25th 6pm deadline. Then at 6pm on the 25th admire the entries, winner selected. Loom Room 23 Wellington Street Ashton under Lyne. £1 to enter.

• Props & Sets. Market Avenue will be transformed with prop and set recreations including the Santa Carla sign from Lost Boys, Aragog the Spider Lair set, SAW set, Elm Street, Hellboy, Welcome to Woodsboro, Bates Motel, Halloween, Poltergeist Derry IT signs, Jeepers Creepers pit, and a FTLOH photo box picture opportunity. All free of charge. All located on Market Avenue Ashton under Lyne.

• Flash Mob Thriller Dance Troupe by Blaze Dance Academy. Saturday 25th October 1pm. Centre of Market Avenue Ashton under Lyne.

• Halloween trade stands.

They’ll be setting up shop at Street Life, so you can see the magic in person, chat with the team, and maybe start planning your own custom piece.

We’re making Ashton great again - backing our locals, celebrating what makes this town special, and bringing the buzz back to Market Avenue.

This street party’s all about local pride, proper community spirit, and everyone coming together to create a day to remember.
