❤️ A little update from me…

Unfortunately, the shop will be CLOSED this weekend AND I can not set up at linithgow market.

I’ve come home from holiday to what has turned out to be a really nasty infection in my hand. It came on incredibly quickly — what started as a sore finger has progressed to my whole hand and arm becoming very swollen, and I’m currently unable to properly close or use my hand.

I’ve been assessed and I’m now on antibiotics, but I’m also feeling really unwell and struggling with being sick, so I’ve been told I need to rest and let my body fight this.

I’m honestly absolutely gutted. I know I’ve already been away and the shop has been closed, and coming back to a mountain of work was already making me feel awful about everything. I was really looking forward to getting back to normal, seeing everyone and getting stuck back into work.

But this has happened so quickly and I simply can't safely work like this.

I’m so sorry to anyone who was planning on visiting this weekend, and especially to anyone who has been waiting for me to reopen. I really do appreciate your patience and understanding more than you know. ❤️

Hopefully the antibiotics will start doing their job and I’ll be back on my feet (and, more importantly, able to use my hand!) very soon.

A Little August Update 💜✨

Hi everyone! 💜

I just wanted to pop on and say a huge thank you for your patience and understanding over the last few weeks.

August has been a very busy month with the kids being off school, school holidays, weddings and everything else that comes with family life! I’m now taking one more week away, but I’ll be back from 4th September and will be working through all your orders and repairs.

Please allow me a little time to fully catch up once I’m back. I really do appreciate your patience while I get everything back on track. 🥰

The good news is that the shop is still open while I’m away! 🛍️✨ The lovely Sara is holding the fort at the front of the shop, so you can still pop in and have a browse of all the beautiful crystals and jewellery. 💎✨

One of the only things about running a small family business is that family has to come first. ❤️ I don’t have a big workshop or a team of people behind the scenes — it’s just me and Sanna, with Sara helping at the front of the shop, and we also have a new member joining us at the front of the shop too! How exciting! 🥰

I’ve got SO much to show you — honestly, loads and loads of new things — but I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had the chance to take all the photos and videos or upload everything yet! 😂 I promise I’ll start sharing lots more very soon. ✨💎

Our shops are just across the street from each other, so it was really nice to enjoy an evening together, all done up and away from work for a change! ❤️

Of course, we couldn’t resist trying to get some content while we were at it… because apparently we can’t switch off from being business owners! 😂📸

✨ A little reminder from me! ✨

I’m so sorry for the lack of posts this month! August has been a bit of a whirlwind, squeezing in some much-needed family holidays, family time and a few lovely friends’ & family weddings — all before the big Christmas rush begins! 🎄😂

Please bear with me while I juggle it all. I’ve tried my best to let everyone who comes into the shop know about the slightly longer wait times during August while I’m away.

The shop is still OPEN, and the lovely Sara is holding the fort at the front of the shop while I’m away. 💕 I’ll be fully back up and running from the beginning of September, with a few little bits happening in between.

In the meantime, please do still pop into the shop! We have lots of beautiful new stock in, and I’m still able to take on repairs too. ✨

The beautiful, polished end result is only a small part of the story.

Behind the scenes, there’s usually a whole lot of mess, chaos, half-finished pieces, tools everywhere, and me trying to keep track of what I’m doing! 😂

It might not look pretty in the moment, but this is where the magic happens. It’s the experimenting, creating, fixing, redoing, and all the little details that eventually come together to create the finished product you see.

So next time you see one of my beautiful finished pieces, just remember… there’s probably been a LOT of this behind the scenes first! 🤍

And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🥰
