Our watches combine the feel of the Côte d'Azur with a sincere focus on materials and detail. Hence, our mission is simple. F. And we, well, we were just kids.

We’ve combined a long-lasting love for watches with a strong belief that luxury and versatility doesn’t have to be compromised. To help people look great keeping track of their most precious possession: their time. We find our inspiration in our roots – namely the Côte d’Azur. After all, this is where we spent countless childhood summers, living in Sanary Sur Mer, a small village on the coast of P

rovence. Like many before us, we fell in love with its rocky coastline, the smell of ancient pine trees and the warm evening air filled with the chi-chi-chi of crickets. Scott Fitzgerald described it as a playground with a fairy blue sea. Coco Chanel sunbathed here aboard the Duke of Wellington’s yacht. Even the Parisians stay for the summer – and they’re never wrong about anything. But we kept coming back. Since our launch, we’ve endeavoured to make the ordinary extraordinary and the everyday timeless. As our legacy continues, we hope that our love of quality timepieces can meet and inspire your very own story – just the way it did for us.

Plein Soleil (1960).

One of the most iconic scenes in cinema history, precisely because it feels so real. No closed set, no polished perfection, just Alain Delon walking through a live open air market in a single take while everyday life unfolds around him. The curious glances into the camera, the slight awkwardness from the people around him, the imperfections… that’s what gives the scene its soul.

Film from this era had a way of capturing atmosphere that digital still struggles to replicate. The grain, the sunlight, the texture, the movement of the crowd, it feels alive. Almost like a memory rather than a movie.

And beneath the beauty sits something darker. Nearly every detail in the scene quietly foreshadows Ripley’s fate: the hooked fish, the sting rays dragged from the sea, the scales of justice, the beheaded fish underfoot. An ordinary market walk becomes a silent warning hiding in plain sight.

The film later inspired The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), but many still consider Plein Soleil the more stylish and haunting version.

Alain Delon passed away in 2024, but scenes like this are exactly why his presence still feels eternal.
