Perfectly petite!

I've just received a delivery of these handbag-sized mini shoppers, handwoven from plaited palm leaf in Niger. At approx 30x20cm, they’re the perfect size, but so tricky to make that the weavers don't like making them, so a rare find! 💛

My dress design is intentionally simple, because the handwoven cotton from Mali, printed with argile (clay), is the true storyteller. Every thread, every pattern, carries the heritage of skilled hands and timeless tradition.
